Love this list! My boyfriend is FINALLY coming around to wearing fragrance, he is a doc so doesn't wear it to work due to allergies. But he is loving fig based fragrances especially Parisian Musc and Dandelion and Fig! Also loving The Most Wanted on him and of course Herod! I will have to get my nose on Naxos!

I bought a decant of it, and I must say this scent is just amazing. It is very sweet, but I love it. It reminds a little on the vintage version of Joop Homme, but in an incredible way. You can instantly smell the quality of it. Nothing to add, gonna buy a bottle tomorrow.

I have some of these already as I’m not the fruity floral type of gal and have shared BabyCat w the hubby. Ebene Fume and Harod are next on my gift list for him (so we can share 😉). African Leather by Memo Paris is YUMMY on him also.

Hi Anne. I tried Gris Extrait for 1st time when I was in Nice this year. Wow!! It is 30% strength vs Parfum. It smells soooo good. I also got Kalemat and Desert Falcon. I think Desert Falcon conjures just about all stud guys lol. Wow! I think you will be floored. In Portugal I got J'ose and Happy by Eisenberg. Youza!!! I got The Blend from Oboticario and it is soft woody and a bit spice. There is a good rum note in it

My hubby and I share some LV fragrances, Sun Song, California Dream and On The Beach, PDM Greenley, and Initio Oud for Greatness. But Xerjoff’s Pikovaya Dama smells so good and stunning on him, I decided he can have it. 😁 the other fragrances I really love on him are BN9 Bleeker St and Nishane’s Hacivat. You make me curious about Liis BO, need to try it one of these days. 🥰🥰🥰

Love your videos what about doing a layering video

Got Naxos for hubby at Christmas as he blew through his samples. He lives off of Naxos and Gris Charnel; he says he doesn’t have a need for any other scents and between those 2 perfect perfumes he’s good to go.

Have some of these and agree that they are great. Naxos is very nice, and Oud for Greatness is incredible. Jazz Club is decent, but I wish the concentration was at least an Eu De Parfum instead of Eu De Toilette. Herod is one of my favorites and one of my earliest purchases. A few days ago, I received a sample of "Don" by Xerjof. I'd be curious to know what you and others think of it. It is a polarizing scent. From the descriptions that I read about it, such as the "scent of gun powder and money (like the actual smell of money), "metallic, etc., I didn't think I would like it, but I absolutely love it. However, it's a scent I will be wearing mainly for my pleasure because I don't believe it will be mass appealing for some reason.

Been eyeing that Gris Charnel for my first niche! For designer, I love my Dior Homme Parfum that's it that's the only one I need downside is almost impossible to find. And of course my boy Ebony Wood how can I forget?? Love your taste in perfumes as always!

Great choices. Not cheap, and not blind buys because these fragrances make statements. PDM Herod and Replica Jazz Club are two of my favorites, but the vanilla fragrance that gets me the most compliments (and is the fragrance that tells my wife "Hey, honey. . .") is the inexpensive Moustache EDP by Rochas. I am in my 50's so maybe that's part of it. Naxos is on my "need to buy" list after trying a tester, and now you have me wanting to try Babycat, which I hadn't heard of. PDM Carlisle and Clive Christian Blonde Amber are my favorite fragrances but are not "office friendly" and are very bold.

Anyone know a good layering combo with Another 13? I love it on its own, but I feel like it would pair really well with other fragrances!

From Initio, I prefer and have Side Effect and Blessed Baraka. From Tom Ford, I went with Ombre Leather EDP...and it's my wife's favorite fragrance of mine.

I have 5 of these sexy fragrance, MFK Grand Soir, PDM Herod, Jazz Club, Naxos and Intio and i love all of them and would love to try babycat

Have you ever tried Vanille Oud by Vertus? That one is amazing

I went to Nordstrom with a list of all the fragrances in this video the ladys gave me many samples that smelled great it was hard to pick one, so i went with Tom Ford private collection set santal blush, ebene fume, bois marocain. In about 6 months i will get a new fragrance maybe Creed virgin island Water.

I have Grand Soir and I layer it with Kayali Vanilla 28 to take the masculine edge off. It is fantastic!

Naxos is amazing! Although it may lean male, I love wearing it myself. The drydown is to die for!

Questions and comments! Q: You mentioned Harod is the epitome of vanilla/tobacco perfection - have you tried Tom Ford's tobacco vanille? How would you compare them? Q: You describe MKF's Grand Soiree as having that 'dress up, class, money' identity. Have you tried YSL's Tuxedo yet, and if so, how does that compare in your mind? C: This video is outstanding. I'm subbing but with the optimism that you'll do more content for unisex or masculine leaning fragrances. Would love a dedicated video for high performing gourmands (6 hours +) - i.e. chocolate, coffee, etc.

And I loovveeee OFG, the airiness for me. Definitely beast mode so I only put 1 spritz on…but a guy can get aaay with 2-3 spritzes. Hubby doesn’t like it but I absolutely looovveee it for the ladies in winter, sweater weather

What would you layer Jazz Club with?

What a list! Even as a woman I want to try ALL of these fragrances right now! I have samples of about half this list and LOVE them (I mix the woody ones with a simple vanilla). I would add TF's Soleil Brulant as one of the SEXIEST unisex fragrances I laid my nose on last year. Smells like pure lust to me (especially on warm skin).

Have you smelled Tom Ford Tobacco Oud? It’s my absolute favorite on my husband. I wouldn’t think I’d be that into an ashy tobacco but it’s very nice. I believe it’s discontinued so he got a big bottle. We’re also a big fan of Herod in this house. ❤ We definitely need to try Ebene Fume because he loves a good incense note.

I think Grand Soir is unisex. I freaking love it and can’t stop smelling it. It smells like a creme brûlée to me. I could eat it.

For info am a man, and i just bought Gris Charnel EDP - fun thing is Both my mom, the woman from the store, and myself thought that the Extrait version was more feminine than the EDP. Go figure :) They both perfectly unisexe !

I heard from a lot of fragrance influencers that Ébène Fumé doesn’t project and last much and that it's mostly a skin scent that lasts 5 hours I wanna buy it cuz I love it but the performance is holding me back from getting it

Can a woman wear grand soir?

This is the video your Gentlemen viewers have been waiting for, and the list is flawless - any guys out there who are "looking to seduce" would do well to try and get some (if not all) of the scents on this list. I own a small number of the 12 on the list, and have samples of some of the others; There are 4 on the list I have yet to obtain...but they will be mine, in time. I also need to return to Grand Soir as I just didn't get it first time around. I have a prediction for you Anne: Your channel is going to *blow up* in the next 12 - 24 months. It's an educated guess type of prediction. [The following opinions are mine alone; if comment readers don't like what I am saying, we can agree to differ. PLEASE do not hate on Anne for anything I say from here on out.] In 2022 alone, I have seen three YT Fragrance reviewers achieve milestones, and they reached varying "levels" of success. First guy, who has been on this platform quite a long time, hit 300K Subs this year. He has a vast collection, and is very knowledgeable about the scents he reviews, and fragrances in general, so he deserves the count IMHO, even if it's just for consistently producing content this long! (I actually think he may have taken some sort of media training because the early videos, compared to his latest content, is like night against day.) The only downside with this guy is that he's now mixed up in fragrance creativity, and his recent content really feels like he's shilling, and that makes me feel sad. The second guy hit 200K subs, and he is fully deserving of that number. In fact, he should have way more Subs than that but I believe there was some sort of dispute in the mid-2010's, and he was subject to some punitive measures on the Platform and had to start again. He manages to get exclusive interviews with fragrance creators and house owners and no-one else is doing that kind of content. It is FANTASTIC viewing. If there is any downside with his channel, it's that I personally find his content presentation a bit "staid", and it seems like he is a little jaded lately (hopefully I am wrong about that). But there is no doubt that he knows his stuff, and he too also has a vast collection. If he recommends a scent, I find that he is spot on almost 100% of the time. The third guy hit 100k subscribers in 2022 and he is rolling along nicely. I get the feeling that he may be promoting specific fragrances for certain houses as there are various fragrances that show up in his feed repeatedly, and they are NOT cheap. His content is not truly consistent and has quality control issues; tweaking his signature tune, and mixing up his presentation style as he goes. So I think he is still trying to find the "final version" of his brand, but he will get there. I am Subscribed and always watch. There is a fourth guy who wants so badly to be at 100K, but is less than 75% of the way there. I have a feeling you will hit 100K before him. He is a hilarious dude, honest to a fault and has some great fragrances in his growing collection, but his downfall is some, shall we say, "random stuff" in the videos every so often. There's some craziness there at times! Now, let's talk YOU! And why I think you are going to be more popular as we move through 2023/2024 What elevates your channel, among other things, is the presentation of the content. You have a certain "IT" quality that most other fragrance reviewers do not have, with the exception perhaps of Tara from Olfactofiles. If I may say so, you are quite captivating to watch. It's one of those things, this "IT" quality that people just have or have not. You have mountains of it. You are extremely articulate, so your descriptions of the scents you talk about are quite interesting, as well as being unique to you. Somehow, you are able to give each and every scent you review a fresh aspect, which can't be easy. You don't seem to be repetitive - so far anyway - and that keeps me coming back. Also, your enthusiasm for the fragrances you speak of is infectious. (You even de-cluttered 10 or so fragrances recently, and you very ably explained why they were no longer part of your world, without one word of negativity about any of them. That was just beautiful to see) Heck, if I wasn't on a "Buy-Free" 2023, I'd be for sure buying a sample of Le Labo Another 13 based on this video alone. (It's just stopped raining where I currently am in Europe, as it happens!) And if I am not mistaken, I bought Babycat based on the few videos in your catalogue where Babycat is spoken about. Based on other reviewers opinions of Babycat, I thought I was covered, as I already own Magnificent Gold, Sleek Suede and Rosendo Mateu No 5. These guys had me thinking I didn't need bottle #17 from YSL to add to my collection. YOUR take on Babycat made me think again, so I bought it blind after watching one of your videos, and WOW what a fragrance. They knocked it out of the park with this one. I'm so glad I acted on your opinion. Thank you for that. I hope that any commissions/affiliate links for your content are starting to come to you, Anne, given how well you describe these scents on this channel. I doubt any sales assistant could do better! I very much look forward to see you rising to the higher echelons of fragrance review fame on this platform. Last word: Please try and get your hands on 24 rue de l'Université from the Le Vestiaire des Parfums - Edition Couture collection by YSL, if you have not already. I have a feeling that it is a scent that will intrigue you. Now, 24... took me a few wearings to get into, but I stuck with it - and as soon as it finally *clicked*: OMFG - what a creation! The bottle is sleekly black, and that's the colour of the clothing I wear when I want to dress myself around my scent. I have Jazz Club, and I love, Jazz Club, but 24... is *THE* fragrance to portray when you're the man/woman in black. It's that good that it dictates my wardrobe for the day... and it is AMBROSIAL. After that, Tuxedo - but I think you have that already, no? [I am not affiliated with YSL, by the way...just a fanboy, a big fanboy!]

As a guy, this is definitely a great list. Surprisingly though, the PDM fragrances haven’t done it for me yet. They all just smell weird to me for some reason. I haven’t liked them but from experience I know revisiting scents after a while can change your opinion. So one day I’ll try them out again

I have a very unisex taste also and my man wears most of my fragrances as well as his own 🤷‍♀️ and I would wear all of these suggestions 💃
