Bre Richardson Sorry to hear about your parents and congrats on the GPA, but the statement is still true. Aside from extenuating circumstances, high school as it is, is simply a matter of attending and 'getting through' it. You have to actively work at not succeeding, whereas everything else requires work to succeed.
What? You just hit your wake up call at university? I attend NYU for Biochemistry and to be honest. It's tough. But it definitely wasnt high school. So much drama in highschool. so much wanting to quit. Where here there is no point in giving up. all my classes are quite nicely scheduled and I can do my homework easier than high school. Seems like you had to do some growing up to realize your wake up call later. You're pretty ignorant though. To make a such a simple statement on a subject that dwarves and ultimately decides peoples lives. So many kids drop out of highschool and have to get a GED. yeah people drop college but college is something you decide. Highschool you truly have to do, otherwise your life if going to be even worse.
I was educated in Australia, and I live in Australia. now, what you study than rather when you went to school is totally irrelevant and different ball game. for me, school was fun and not so challenging, and i had good friends that i have left with, and ill be honest, I commented on this video with my opinion and nothing else, i wasn't being ignorant i was stating the truth. you on the other hand are the ignorant one, you must of found school challenging and a very anti social but nothing in this world comes free and nothing is thrown our way. you might learn that some day :). id love to play keyboard warriors with you, but you're not worth my time.

I can take a computer apart and put it back together in about 5 minutes and do things with crime scene evidence that would make your head explode. Wow, finally a really great speech! I see so many that say "best graduation speech ever" and they are nice, but this one really lets a boy shine that would not only make his parents proud, but the classmates that actually know him, or don't know him, all want to be friends with this guy. He is grade A stock, never heard of him, will never meet him, but I already love him and would want him as a friend. Thumbs up, whoever you are. Your heart is big enough to take in a whole school. massive let down. I saw 1 million plus views and figured I was gonna see something unexpected or clever. Its all pretty basic, cliche graduation jokes. Most of the these jokes are pretty standard. He's pretty comfortable up there; good for him on that.... but 1 million views? What?

The more popular something is, the more popular it will get on the merits of its current popularity up to that point. The internet is like Pokemon on steroids. Noone is truly loving it, but they can't stop, and they want to convince all their friends to join in to make themselves feel less alone in their bad habit. Just like drug addicts.

I know right? Same with my high school. They threatened to withhold our Valedictorian's diploma because of her speech. All she did was make a few comments about how the staff and administrators were never there for her when she was bullied and when she really needed them to sign things so she could transfer classes. Good thing her dad's a lawyer otherwise she would't have gotten it.

Nah, that's when they started enforcing nitt-picky rules about random bullshit. Like in 2006, I remember my highschool completely banned cellphones, and you had to use the school's public phones. And they also stopped having an "open lunch", which is when you can leave school during lunch and do whatever you want.

I was born in the united states and went to school for about 9 year and I went to school in the uk and the stuff we are learning here much less harder then in the states and I'm in top set for all my lessons
A Kid named James Dunn gave basically the same speech at my brothers graduation but he took out the naked people and wet dream part and changed it a little but basically the same. I am guessing he took it from this video
