You guys. YOU GUYS! I picked up the group read for the upcoming challenge (Olivia and the Masked Duke) and even though I had a bazillion other books ahead in my TBR and meant to hold off reading that book until the challenge... I picked it up and started to read it and it is SO GOOD! It's one of my favorites of the year. I'll be re-reading it for the challenge (yay!) but just wanted to thank you for picking such a great group read!

Jess!!!!! If You love historical romance so much then please read dreaming of you and the remaining hathaway series its killing me to know you haven't read THOSE AWESOME books. Love your recommendations and im really very excited for the readathon !!!!!😊😊😊😊😇
Excellent recommendations! I'm not sure if you've already read this one, but a recent read that I think perfectly delivered on the "we're not supposed to fall for each other/let's help each other find a more suitable match" trope was Like No Other Lover by Julie Anne Long. :)
A little off subject but I’ve been meaning to thank whoever recommended on this site The Duke of Shadows by Meredith Duran 2008 . I’m so hard to please and I can’t believe how much I really loved it , the hero is in my top few forever favorites , I’m still daily rereading the best parts . Thank you so much and I hope you see this comment . My only negative is that the first half is better than the second half , but altogether what a enjoyable satisfying keeper
If you loved Devil's Bride....there are a ton of these Cynister clan books, including all the offspring. Another good author is Grace Burrowes who writes more mature characters and story plots.
Thank you for the recommendations! I am so excited about the historical readathon! The fourth book in the Smythe-Smith series is not that good but I felt like I had to read it to finish the series.
I'm going to try to read off this list, all of them sound so good. I did read " Night song" I loved it. I just ordered "winds of the storm" on amazon. I'm going to read it for the spy prompt.
Wow !!! Awesome list and I am planning to read Night song. Please try to read Cat Sabastian's latest release ' The queer principles of Kit Webb'. It's lovely and delightful.
So many historical romance fans! Can you please help me find a book? The female character goes to a scoundrel to ask for help. His conditions are that she spend the night in his house (he has two women in bed with him) and take the walk of shame home in the morning. Her family has to believe her - that nothing happened. They don't. I thought it was Evangeline Jenner's father, Ivo, by Lisa Kleypas, but I can't find the book. Can you help? Thank you!
I think It is Scandalous Desire by Elizabeth hoyt (Book 3 of Maiden lane series) Silence and Mickey story 😊 but they met in book 1 so you have to read book 1 first because it happened in the book 1
Added some of your recommendations to my never ending tbr pile haha! My favorite HR read this year has to be Secrets of a summer night by Lisa Kleypas. Can't wait to read the other 3 books in the series!
Can anyone help me find the title of a book; it's about two brothers, one is at war and betrothed to a lady but thought to be dead. The other brother is a fighter/boxer and a rake. Thd betrothed heroine and the brother meet and fall in love but the lost brother turns up...
