The Best IEMs $50, $100 and $200 Review: Top pick $200 - • REVIEW OF THE AFUL PER... My favorite place to buy portable audio gear: bit.ly/3lswQt1 Facebook Group: / 3466542310098125
Dave makes great videos! Great advice and honest reviews. I'm new to the IEM hobby and I just wonder if people with IEMs in the $$$ and up range are using an EQ on their listening devices? Or do you by an IEM based on it's frequency graph and people don't use an EQ? It makes a huge difference on less expensive IEMs.
Great video! Love that your choices are a little different from the typical suggestions and appreciate that you gave your concise reasons as to why. But what I got most from this video is that i probably should get the S12, coz i can currently cop it at about $100. But i am interested in the Ouranos. Intrigued by the mild V-shape signature while still sounding natural. If i got the S12 (which is supposed to be quite V-shaped as well), would the Ouranos be essentially a little redundant? Or should i consider getting the Ouranos first (currently only $40 where i live), before pulling the trigger on the $100 S12?
I own the Performer 5 and they are amazing. I have nine IEM’s and headphones that are very good but I listen to the Aful the most. A budget IEM that surprised me is the HiBy Beans. I got them as a HiBy mystery box sale for $29 and at that price they are awesome. I think they sell for $69 regularly but would like them even at that price.
Great video as usual. I've lately been enjoying the Kiwi Ears IEMs, the Cadenza and Quartet are really amazing at their price point and at 200 dollar price I love the Seeaudio Yume ll.
i LOVE my performer 5's. the 8's are something i might buy instead of the dunu sa6 mk2. im waiting for them to release so i can pick but till then im daily driving my aful p5's :D
Nice list. It really got me thinking of what I use the most and how many of them are actually in these "budget friendly" price ranges. I find my top 3 are: at $50 QKZxHBB Khan, at $100 Galileo, at $200 SeeAudio Yume II. I may have to check into the AFUL P5. This hobby gets trickier and trickier to pick the "best of", doesn't it? After re-reading this I feel like I shorted the Ikko OH10 at under $200 and the BLONxHBB Z300 at under $50
For me at that around $100 price point tier really started to get some good entries with the Olina SE. then it was hexa and kima, then galileo, EA500, legato, and lastly quartet. I would throw in dioko, but to me it doesnt suit me.
I recently purchased the P5 and prior to that have only experienced much cheaper iem's. I am totally blown away with how much better it sounds and the bass is insane when listening to edm. I think this is my end game
May i know which is better? Gizaudio galileo vs letshuoer s12 pro or simgot ew2000? I listen to lots of kpop , pop , jazz, lofi piano , kpop soloist female idols like IU , taeyeon. Etc.
the Truthear Hexa would be easily among the favorite ones under $100 (amazing mini-Blessing 2 with the "Dusk" flavour), but definitely I fully agree with you about the Performer 5... looking forward to the PF8 !
I want to upgrade from the ZS10PROX witout spending too much, (got them for 15 dlls or 300 mexican pesos) what can you suggest or recommend friend... I saw this for example: polaris,(you said that is no upgrade kz zs10pro x vs polaris, but i wanted to still including it in this tiny list; trio, rhapsody ? Ziigaat Nuo, TANCHJIM TANYA, BQEYZ KC2? TINHIFI T2, Simgot Ew200, BLON BL03, Zero 2? Cronch? Kiwiears Cadenza? Moondrop Quarks? Moondrop CCA CRA ? CCA12 ? CCANRA ? CCA CSN ? Kz AS16 Pro? HIDIZS MS1 Galaxy, Moondrop chu ii, Blon 05, Blon JOJO, Blon z300, HBB KHAN? KZ PR2?Moondrop (SSP)Super Spacestation Pulse? or any other you think is way too good and NOT expensieve, budget price, cheap.
Have you had a chance to listen to the Kiwi Ears Quartet yet? I am looking at both the Galileo and the Quartet. The 2DD+2BA would be unique in my collection, and they are pretty well reviewed.
Underestimated headphones for 100 - this is Panda. Quite even in tonal balance, moderately technical, not boring. True, those that I took in January had problems on the bass and generally sounded worse than the second pair, which I decided to try again in August. Chinese "stability" ))
Im just gonna say the IE200 as my pick. Even though the accessories are trash to say the least, having the nozzle vent covered with tape or a straight bore eartips (I used Fiio hs18) and better cables, even with all the extra cost of the upgrades it essentially becomes a baby IE600 for 1/3 of the price.
@@unifrets6755 imo, i think if youre gonna get this set and upgrade it, you might as well get a hybrid with already good accessories. I heard the new Binary Chopin is really good for $200.
I started with the wan'er and decided to upgrade. Tried out the IE200, P5, B2, Zetian heyday and liked the P5 the most. The B2 sounded slightly better but was uncomfortable for me unlike the P5 which is very.
Are waners worth buying now? Im a poor student looking for some good sound, i bought kz edx pro couple of months ago and im not really satisfied with how they sound. If waners not worth it can you recommend some iems under 50$ pls
Nice Video..How many IEM Earphones Do You Own Right Now please?Where You bought them please? What is your Music Source Devices Do you use in your IEM Earphones collection please? How use your time management using all of your IEM Earphones please?
I usually buy my higher end stuff second hand off of Headfi. But I get most everything else at Hifigo. As for my sources, if you have time, I recommend you visiting the Gizaudio channel because I co-review on that channel and talk about my sources. My current favorite portable source is the Fiio M15S.......here is my review of the M15S: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-j91bNaXqvSY.html . I think I have about 60 iems/headphones, many of them budget sets. I've let a lot go though. My friend, Timmy has at least 100. Admittedly, time management is tough and much of my older stuff can sometimes get neglected as newer stuff has to take priority for reviewing. That being said I do my best to keep up, especially, when I need to do compare the new with the old. Thanks for watching! And again, be sure and check out Gizaudio!
First, thanks for checking out the review! Actually, in the Kima classic review I said that the Galileo is my reference at $100 and I prefer it over the Kima Classic. I only preferred the Kima Classic over my other "V-shape" tuned iems around $100.
Hello and thank you for your contents. Can you give me advise please, which affordable IEMs have fairly even mid-range? I tried couple IEMs, including ATH-E70, couple KZs, Shure SE, but all of them lack mid-range. I need clear midrange on stage, I don’t need too much bass. Could you offer some possible options, please? Thank you very much.
Not familiar with those. the CCA IEMs are from the same company that makes the KZ IEMs. Once I heard theCCA C10s, I was sold. I find them perfect for band gigs, rehearsals & just listening to mp3s.@@alterenergetika
Everybody was raving about the S12 and the planar driver and it was definitely a good set, but the Performer 5 opened my eye to how much detail I was missing and how unbalanced the placement of voices and instruments were on the S12. I even tried a couple mod to the S12 that Michael Bruce offers and it still isn’t it for me. If anything I feel spoiled by the P5 and I wish I could find an upgrade to it that’s not over $300 but it doesn’t seem that there’s any offer that has that much overall performance to offer!
Maybe more of a sidegrade, but I recently got both the Aful P5, and the Kiwi Ears Orchestra Lite. And I have to say, I constantly switch back and forth between these two, both being absolutely excellent IEMs. Looking forward to receive my Quintet next week!
If your on a budget, the Sevenhertz legato or Seeaudio Rinko. if you can spend a little more the Sennhieser IE600. A lot of people are saying the Maestro min is great but I haven't heard it....yet. Thanks for watching!
not IEM , but there's a school of very capable Earbuds in this price bracket that simply perform way above there price point , mind that they are likely not for the mass consumer public of today , who are almost all weaned on IEM with bass shelf highlighted , where Earbuds are almost all about sound stage, details and a more smooth balanced sonic delivery
I recently tried the EM6L and found it to be kind of over hyped and the fit/comfort was terrible and yes i tried a plethora of tips from spinfit 145s to dunu s&s and several in between. I sent them back and kept the zero reds.
