My Favorite Lampeye - Procatopus!!! 

IMPORTANT! I just found out from Jouke Vdz, an internationally respected fish expert, that this is actually Procatopus aberrans, not Procatopus similis. They are closely related and have the same behavior/care as similis, so the care info in the vid is still good. Thanks, Jouke, for clarifying what these are! - 1/11/2019

Yep. Those are very familiar. Mine are beginning to show a little color. Can’t wait till they color up completely. I am going to be making several mops so hopefully some of these will start spawning. I think my calliurum are already trying to spawn with no mop at all. They seemed happy right from the beginning.

Hi Dan I have 9 Normans lampeyes one is a little bigger than the rest and chaces the others around the tank will it settle or should I add more tanks size UK 75 LTR
