Hi everyone in this video I showed you how I grow and feed my Vanda Orchids. Things I have done in this videos are based off my long journey with orchids. I learned a lot along the way. There were times I made mistakes and lost some orchids. Also there were times that I was successful. I made this video so you don't have to experience what I have experienced. I learned that in my experience that the best way to grow Vanda Orchids is grow them without any soil by hanging them and feed them when needed. I grow all my vandas in glass vases, I think it is a very, very easy way to grow them to be honest. I water them for 24 - 48 hours per week, and on dry sunny days I spray the roots in between. Works wonders. Beautiful vandas you grow!

How do you water ur vandas for this many hours and do you have drain holes in ur glass vases… I too want to try the glass vase method that’s why I need to know

I keep some of my Phalaenopsis orchids in tall vase water - in door - doing well - just change water every week. Filter water .

I grow all of my Vanda’s in clay pots with no problem. The only problem I have encountered was with the smooth clay pots. Those ones tend to develop mold and become slimy over time. I have all of mine in rustic terracotta pots because it’s more porous. I water when once a day during the summer and two or three times a week during the winter.

I only spray the leaves if its hot and theres a fan blowing or if i hang the plant upside down so the crown doesnt rot

💚 Beautiful Blooms 💚 I was hoping to find a way to grow these beauties without carrying 🌊 water. It's so hard on this old body. I grow bare root inside all year (arid climate) using RO water. I, too use bloom booster same as yours and they bloom! Thank you for this video. 💚

Sharing water like that is a big risk for transferring fungal infections to the rest of the collection if one orchid is infected.

I keep Phalaenopsis orchids in tall water tall vases- is easy care - every 2 weeks just change filter .water … keep water below the leaves.

My friend and I are wondering which part of the US you are from so we can know if your orchid medium would suit our climate. We live in Calgary Alberta. VERY dry and zone 3 so home temperatures are colder than most US states in the winter.

If you speak two languages, what are you? Bi-lingual Three??? Tri-lingual Four or more? Mulit-lingual But..... What if speak only ONE language? What are you? An AMERICAN.... Hee hee hee. Your slow and deliberate English is remarkably good. I enjoyed the clip. But I felt it necessary to complement your English. I know it took a LOT more work to learn than growing vanda orchids.
