Hey! Here are some of my impressions with the CAD Mouse for 3d applications. This is not a review. Review to come for this mouse and the Space Mouse.

I own 2 Cad mousses. I work wells with most of Cad software's and especially Blender.

I'm hésitant to get the spacemouse for arm ergonomics. Idk if you ever had arm/ shoulder discomfort After long hours of pc usage. But would you say it"s suitable and more ergonomic than a regular mouse? 😅

i cant speak for the cadmouse, but i have the Space Mouse Pro wireless and i never experience any discomfort with it, even when i sit down and spend literally all day sculpting. the SM Pro has a contoured shape that the hand sits quite nicely on. The enterprise version does too; but the basic space mouse navigator is just the interface cap and a base.

@@tensazangetsu6587 ive been absolutely spoiled by the thing. When i travel my display tablet stays at home mounted to my desk and a non display comes with me, but that space mouse does not get left behind. It takes a LOT of getting used to (and not every program uses it the same way, its literally the opposite movements for the same result between blender and zbrush) but once i got used to it it became a necessary part of my toolset.

@@mastafoo886 that's good to know specially if you use it with the Pen it means you 'll have to use the non dominant hand which gives the other one some rest and prévents pain (idk if that made sense xD)

You can have all the expensive ergonomics you like but what’s the middle button click like? Is it soft? I assume if it’s called a CAD mouse they’ve thought of this. Most manufacturers don’t consider a soft click. After returning 3 expensive models I found the steel series rival 3. Cheap and excellent.
