I could listen to Neal talk for hours.... what a fantastic gift of speech and rich voice.... super smart guy what a tragic loss he will forever be missed

I was heartbroken learning of his passing and still am heartbroken. But this made me happy and brought a smile to my face thank you Neil, Geddy and Alex. So many memories you guys were the soundtrack of my growing up. I would walk the streets late at night with my Walkman and your music playing.

How is it possible to not love this band? They love each other. Nothing else really matters. They did it for 40 years. No compromises. They did it their way. Like Freddy and Bonham, Neil cannot be replaced so we'll all just have to thank our own creator we got the chance to share time and space with him.

Such a great story teller, if neil was a teacher, he would have everyones full atention, rip.

I haven't been a fan for nearly as long as many of you, but after hearing songs like Subdivisions and The Enemy Within I fell in love with their music, and more importantly, the lyrics. As a drummer I look up to Neil, and I deeply relate to a lot of his lyrics and ideologies. Rest easy, Neil.

The last memory you put was fitting, and perfect! That always brings tears to my eyes 😪 that was basically the last time we saw Neil and it’ll always hurt 😔 what that man did for so many of us and never knew it… a person we never met but probably felt like we knew personally for a lifetime for all the lyrics he gave us and amazing drum solos… yes he wasn’t a long awaited friend and we also weren’t for him but he was a “stranger” who helped us thru many tough times And still does to this day… RIP Neil Peart

Awww.. love seeing all these clips, but it makes me sad AND happy to be been so moved by his playing all these years. From when I first heard The Spirit of Radio as a 13 year old just starting out on drums to recently covering Tom Sawyer and The Spirit of Radio in separate collaboration videos, my mind was constantly thinking of Mr Peart and his influence on me as a drummer. I think it was beautiful how, toward the end of his public appearances, he started doing more interviews and appearances and the end of the R40 tour and stuff. He wanted to go out with a lot of material to leave for us, his fans.

Oh wow this video is suddenly blowing up. Just wanted to say thanks for checking out my video. I really hate the fact that I had to make it but I just remembered seeing so many clips of the band growing up and Neil doing some goofy things so I just wanted to share them for anyone who hasn't seen them.

For a guy I never met, I miss him greatly.

Rush will live for ever in our hearts and minds. Neil Peart was the straw that stirred the drink, what a generational talent. He will be sorely missed...

Every time I think of Neil my mind just goes back to when I was cleaning out storage in my dads house and found a drumstick with Neil’s signature on it in between a mattress and an empty cardboard box, absolutely no clue how it got there.

We were so fortunate to have had this man's influence, talent, wisdom and passion in our lives. He truly was one of a kind and is missed terribly.

There will never be anything like him ever!. God Bless him

Today is the first day since his passing that I can watch him without tearing up. He was an inspiration

Oh man....I haven't even thought about it for years. See that guitar Neil is playing @1:00? that's Alex's Howard Roberts Fusion. I installed that chrome plate between the bridge and tailpiece in the 90s. Just a cover-up of a route for when Alex had a Kahler bridge installed in that guitar.

I was able to see rush (them) just once back in 1980-81. With their Moving Pictures album in Houston. I will forever remember that concert.

No words can describe how our lives were shaped and influenced by this one man , who by shear determination and undying dedication of percussion domination, Neil took us all on a percussive journey beyond anyone's wildest dreams. Thank you Neil and thank you Geddy and Alex for your ability to give us a voice of Hope and a way to drive beyond the guilded cage....aye'

Neil was one of the best musicians of all time. We missed him when he took his sabbatical and will now miss him forever.

Modest just like true talent would be .RIP Niel you inspired me and many more but that’s not what you were here for . There’s a bigger picture here and hopefully someone could tell the story and give the credit due to a true genius we were graced upon
