I has a blast with the I Jack this week. I was fishing it on the edge of a grass line. 8:1 reel, burn it 3-4' and stop. It would get 12-18" deep and when you stopped they would hit it like a freight train. Managed to get 10 into the boat. I was using 30 lb braid to 16 lb Sniper.
I have been having good success with squarebills on Table Rock. I have recently started back fishing after not having a boat for about 30 years. Love the videos and they have been very helpful with learning about the electronics and different lures. I always fished spinnerbaits and carolina rigged plastic worms before getting back into fishing. Have caught fish on a jig and squarebill so far at Table Rock. Lost a bunch on a frog too...adjusted my hooks and added a trailer. Doubt I have the same issues next time I use it. I had to change the hooks on my squarebills because I lost so many. Yesterday, landed 4 of 4 on the crankbait after changing the hooks and changing how I was landing the fish. Keep up the good work.
Rejoined the fishing world three years ago (after a 35 year absence). Been subscribed to In-Fisherman Mag all that time. (I frequently underline things in articles and keep a notebook on key points.) Have followed 2 fishing RU-vidrs, picked up occasional copies of other magazines, been on one fishing-related email list that publishes twice per week. This (video) is the first time I've ever heard the word "wake bait". They're basically floating / shallow-diving cranks that are more minnow-shaped?
You showed weather conditions but did not mention air pressure. Why not? European Perch reacts strongly to air pressure and especially changes up or down in how eager they are to hunt for bait.
🤔I threw a wake bait about 6 hours ago, then I got home and got a notification that they're a secret of the pros... and this whole time I didnt even know I was keeping a secret but it's nice to know I'm pro level🤣
All his videos are titled like that. What the pros don't want you to know bla bla bla. BUT, this kid knows his electronics. I'd hate to go against him offshore.
@@steve4321able yeah, I was kinda poking fun at the increasingly common '15 year old epic pro secret that noone wants you to know about' titles, followed by a popular technique that most people know about, I mean especially a wake bait, at least a few other popular channels have done this video already...
Haha I'm experimenting with Thumbnails and Titles for RU-vid Analytics purposes. My plan is to figure out a good thumbnail and title without the clickbait that gets the same views as these. Unfortunately, these thumbnails get 3 times the views of my regular thumbnails
@@FishtheMoment sometimes in life you have to decide between something with monetary value and your integrity. Which way you go kinds decides your character in my oppinion. Are you not doing well now? Obviously I dont know you but from the outside looking in I think alot of viewers, including myself, would trade our jobs for yours haha I mean it seems to me your doing well, why not just title the videos honestly, hold onto your integrity and just hold onto the status quo for now. I mean do ya really need a million views on every video no matter what it takes? I think youed be just fine without the extra views that clickbait titles generate, but then im not a youtuber, but it also seems like you have more and bigger sources of income than video views...idk just my thoughts as someone on the outside looking in.
Thanks for the input. I am definitely on the same page as you. I don’t plan on making these thumbnails a common practice on the channel. I’m just experimenting with them to see that happens from an analytics perspective.
My thoughts: - Fish the Moment offers the best fishing instruction and content out there. - Did you rig that dropshot weedless? Would really like to know how you rig that. - Livescope is some cheatin ass bullshit. Sorry, had to get that out of mt system.
You put out good content and info, but why so off putting and sensational with the video titles? There are no secret baits if its mass produced. Why with all the pros dont want you to know? Maybe just be straight up with what technique and lures you are highlighting in your vids? Just a thought.

Unfortunately, these thumbnails get 3 times the views of my regular thumbnails (the ones you suggested) so I'm still trying to experiment and figure it out.
at 7:05 you make a cast and we see it land a good distance from the boat, you make 3 turns of the handle then at 7:10 a fish bites it right beside the boat at a different angle? cmon man your credability is starting to be tested between clickbait titles and slick editing.
It's just how the boat turned as I made the retrieve. I could leave the entire cast in there but it would just be 20 extra seconds of watching me reel in a bait. I personally don't believe that's very exciting. You saw the fish bite the bait so I'm not sure how that makes a difference?
