Oh man! So many heavy hitters here. Frederick Douglas is definitely a great inspiration. I love Michael Jackson’s music as well. Dangerous is my favorite song. I forgot about Meteor Man! Wow that takes me back. Great job on this tag Dark-O. I appreciate you.

Some great selections here, Dark-O. I agree, Don Cheadle is a very underrated actor, especially after seeing Hotel Rwanda. I'll have to give country more of a chance...maybe I should ease into it with Beyoncé. I love how you talk about story in music with MJ and that is the best way to describe his music. I was always a fan of Erykah Badu and my go-to when I need to chill, Sade. Your tribute to James Baldwin and how he reflects on your own identity is very inspirational. Its great when we can find inspiration role models in our community. I'm a little ignorant of his work so I will have to remedy that. -Cheers! 🤘🏼

Grant is a great pick for a past political figure. He really does get over looked compared to so many others. Glad you are starting to enjoy country! My music tastes has started to expand more as I have gotten older as well.

Right with you on Don Cheadle!! Astounding actor. Also right with you on Obama…maybe term limits were an awful idea. I remember that election night, and feeling uplifted and hopeful about human civilization…it was beautiful.
