@@SugarSpunRun I also made a white chocolate version for my brother that apparently was pretty good too. I don’t know because he wouldn’t give me a piece. I bake, he eats.😂
Okm this is the 5th time I'm making this pie. Double the batch cause one pie didn't last. My whole family loves it. Especially cause it doesn't have that phoney instant chocolate flavor. This pie is my #1 hit. I'm gonna say it again, this is my go to channel when needing to impress company.
I really like this recipe, it has ingredients that I have in my pantry as well. Can’t wait to make this pie. You had me at chocolate and pie lol. 👏🏼👏🏼🤤🤤👍🏼
Thanks for the video. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm confident that it's the absolute BEST. GOD Bless you & your family & keep you all healthy & strong.✌🏾
Oh my gosh I cannot wait to try this! I have tried several of your recipes and have loved them. I love your videos and appreciate the way you explain things. Thank you so much!
Omg stop!!😍 You are a saint ! I'm going to make it this weekend. Tonight will be making your chili. Thank you for the recipes ... Consistently delicious!!
hey Sam. this looks like a great recipe. The amount of sugar seems really high, especially since there is some sugar in the chocolate. Do you think it would suffer if I reduced the amount of sugar to 1 cup or 3/4 cup like I have seen in some other recipes for chocolate pudding? Also, will be using a graham cracker crust which is quite sweet.
I miss my mom’s chocolate meringue pie, but really don’t miss the meringue, so this looks awesome. I’m gonna give it a try. Hers was made with Hershey’scocoa, but that was before we have all this great chocolate around! Lol
Happy thanksgiving to you and your family. My family an I love your recipes especially the potato soup. Do the eggs for this recipe need to be at room temperature?
What size measuring cup are you using? In South Africa ours are 250ml but I've been told a US cup is only 200ml - this difference could make a huge difference to a recipe - please advise
Delicious as ALWAYS😋! Sam, I'm congratulating you early before reaching 100k subscribers, because it's ALREADY done and to 1million and beyond🤗💖⭐🥇🎉🎈🎊🚀!!!
so of us can't afford eggs, come to australia and see the cost of making things with eggs out here. I wish all these vids would give all alternative recipe's...
Help.. I'm 71 old male that saw this video, and had to try it. Used the exact things as in the video. 60% choc. and all. Went good ,until I added the choc. Mixture got real thick. I stirred it for a while, then put in in the strainer. Really thick, and slow going through. On the video, mixture seems thinner. What, if anything, have I done wrong? Thanks for any help.
I love your recipes and I'm sure this one will be a winner. I was thinking instead of adding the whipped cream on top, do you think it would taste good if I mixed it with the chocolate pie filling? Thank you. :)
That would be fine too! I prefer to do it this way to ensure the custard is hot enough to melt the butter and chocolate fully and any unmelted pieces of chocolate would be caught, but either way works. :)
