The Houdini is worth every penny. I bought mine in 2015 and still wear it on a regular basis. Depending how much the wind is blowing, the use is divided between the Houdini and a similar jacket from Arcterix, which has some ventilation in the back. So in any strong winds the Houdini is the first choice
Just ordered one from REI for $73. That seems like exactly what I need for the brisk days this time of year. Thank you for the recommendation! Hopefully it will be here in time for my race next weekend. Going for my first 50 mile finish.
Hey I know this is an old review, I'm thinking of getting a regular houdini for running as well. You mentioned that after running with it for a period of time, the jacket retains sweat. Do you by chance know how long that would be? I just run 30-40 min every other day. Thanks!
