“My Favorite Things” from the Musical “The Sound of Music”, beautifully (and challengingly) arranged for piano by Sir Stephen Hough.
This piece brings back memories of my time in Salzburg, Austria, where the film was shot at. As a child, I watched the movie many times, not knowing that I would spend a decade living in the picturesque Austrian town.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with the movie, you might still have heard a version of this song by pop superstar Ariana Grande, whose song “7 Rings” uses the same melody

I love the variety of styles you put here! Sounds a lot like Chopin, Bach and Liszt with a lot of rich chords! That must be so tricky to play yet you nailed it flawlessly!

Amazing playing of course, but I am curious is this the raw audio of the Piano, or is there added reverb? :)

Thank you! I did add some reverb and eq, due to space constraints I had to put the mics in the piano with the lid closed, which isn’t optimal for classical recordings so I had to compensate with some plugins :)
