As living in the Midwest I love the midwestern niceness when you go to small mom and pop buissnesses and you can sit there and talk to people without having to be quiet and you meet people and nobody’s angry at you for sitting at a bar area eating food talking to locals it’s so wholesome seeing mav talking to that guy in the restaurant made me think about that

I bought a A.R.E MX series topper back in 2006 and planned the nomadic lifestyle. I have paired with rear hatched door on my 2004 F150. Life changing events happened and I ended up selling the truck. I enjoy your vids so keep on truckin. 🤙

I picked up one never again. It was 12 degrees felt bad. Lady kept getting weirder and weird ask me for s3x for money and if I didn't say I was a minor (I'm not just at that moment felt very threatened cause her hand was about to touch me) pulled over and said get out of my car and at that moment I never again did this.

Doesn’t he insulate it? That covers the window so he can flip up the insulation to see if anyone is outside. Tinted windows at night with light you can see the light shining through from the outside but not from the inside.

I have a 2017 tundra. I went back and forth about a topper since I bought it. I finally pulled the trigger on an ARE topper and man I love it. The dog lives riding back there too. I guess if the wife ever kicks me out I can live in there too!

Hey mav just a small tip for crimping things without crimpers. Take a bee bee. Or a small pebble and put it on one side of the connector then use your vice grips ! Awesome new topper man!

Your channel is amazing i enjoy how real and down to earth you are i only found your page about 3 weeks ago and have been binge watching like crazy, no clickbait you put up the good and not so good times which i really like it cant all be glamorous always ups and downs in life and you show both sides of the coin this channel has been a bit of an escape for me the last few weeks so thank you for that im from canada and my favourite way to fish is through the ice so obviously your ice fishing vids are me favourite but enjoy all your content!! I pretty much have the exact truck, cap, colour setup with an 8ft box and bedrug . 8 ft box is soooooo nice. I use a 28 inch deep shelf across the back leaving the floor wide open for a queen size down filled futon mattress on the bedrug. Leaves tons of headroom and storage is accessible through the windoors. No semi permanent build as I use this truck for work as a builder. My truck is a 2017 f150 5.0 extended cab 8ft box. May take out the larger section of back seat. Love your vids Mav, keepem comin:)

@@mwood24 ppl with mental disorders can kill you.... a couple would pretend to break down and practice killing ppl by murdering whomever would stop to help them.... plus there are a LOT of psychos in US.... I cant talk for other places, but I've seen enough documentaries on murders and such to not trust strangers in my personal space like that. You have to help from a distance sometimes. I would have bought the guy a bus ticket or something. Plus I work in the ER and A LOT of ppl are off their meds and flipping out. It's scary smh. A lot of ppl just need their meds and therapy but the system is broken and most fall through the cracks.

I have a Snugtop with win-doors all around, one of the best options but did stay with the cab-height. As I develop my platform/drawer system, will run across the same height issue. Will remember the taller topper on the next truck. Good vid, thanks! Paul

Ahh the raspberry cheesecake cookies from subway, my mom LOVED those, she would go to subway just to get them. After she passed in 2018 I tried to make a copy cat recipe and nailed it, now I make them often for my kiddos in memory of My Mom Their Grandma. Nice choice Mav!

Love the mid rise topper and love that it is color match! I think the mid rise looks better than the level toppers. I have one for my F150 crew cab but I have the 5.5 bed so can't lay out flat in it. I love the comment about the super high toppers being grandpa toppers too. So true!

Hey Mav you need to get a plaid headliner in there! I did mine half a year ago to prep for my truck camping setup/build and I have no regrets. Looks like a true midwesterner truck next to all the rust. Love the videos. Look into solar setups too if you haven't already!
