Hey @Nik, for C# I would recommend using Visual Studio itself, it's just specifically designed to work with C# or any .NET based technology, but let me know what is the issue, will try to make another video for that.
@@tigrantech Okay this is really complicated so make sure so get comfortable XD . The errors are with Omnisharp after i changed preference to external script: Visual Studio (Source: C# (Extension) Maybe something with .sln or something ( dont know what it is) But when i do a clean install it's no issue. Reason i changed it was for autocomplete because; I was following a guide where this guy was using MonoDevelop and i was following along with Visual Studio. He was typing " if(input.GetAxisRaw and got autocomplete functionality between every step of the way while typing that. That was his first code, without any above. Me trying to replicate that, i dont get those functions on my tab. Its not a problem with Extensions or settings because i do get certain predictions but not the ones i need for Unity. Then i tried it in another script i had saved wich had alot of code and it DID try to autocomplete along the way.. Then i tried to narrow the issue down and i found that the following line allowed me to get it working as long its defined above: " Vector3 movement = new Vector3(Input.GetAxis("Horizontal"), 0f, 0f); " If i THEN go to the end of my script and type IF(inp i get the autocomplete working.. So it seems like i need to define something first before the completion kicks in in that part... So im wondering if this is just the way Visual studio works, but as a noob its confusing and it seems easier to get every option in the list anyway like the guy in MonoDevelop.. I'm totally at a loss ! I'm just starting out with C# . Link to the video that got me confused at 11 minutes 10 seconds: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Tm2L-_0eIeY.html
