@@bubblewhales7431 i came back to this video on a whim, You have good taste, I would like to point out that I Still Adore Billy Talent, Been one of my favourite bands since i was like 12, im almost 29 now.
@@BeeFizzle lol billy talent is the bomb and calli is a pretty good rapper too, also I have billy talent covers and some hololive covers on my channel too so hers some advertising lol
Billy Talents 2003 album "Billy Talent" was the first album I listened to front to back. This band is extremely underrated. Ian D'Sa is even more underrated.
0:00 - Devil In A Midnight Mass 0:26 - Saint Veronika 0:51 - Tears Into Wine 1:20 - Pocketful Of Dreams 1:49 - Devil On My Shoulder 2:12 - Pins And Needles 2:33 - Surrender 2:54 - Viking Death March 3:28 - Fallen Leaves 4:03 - Definition Of Destiny 4:32 - Hanging By A Thread 5:00 - This Suffering
Even that he ain’t the super fast shredding player, he has such a fast chord play and a superb timing. Billy Talent is a pure gem. The voice and the guitar makes this bad so unique
For a second there I thought This Suffering wasn’t going to be on it and I was kinda bummed but saved one of the bests for last o see! Awesome job. Freaking A
You are really good man! Don't you think that band is super underrated? I seen them live in Austin, Texas back in like 2003 or so and I was mesmerized watching their guitarist play. Been a huge fan of that band since and I'm always introducing these guys to people I know. Not even one single time did anyone ever say they'd heard of them. Blows my mind. Ian is too good for people to not know about these guys.
I wasn't very good at playing that one back then. It almost didn't make the cut. But it's my favourite as well. I want to teach the whole song on this channel.
you did amazing with all the riffs, i love your guitars tone and i know it can be a bitch to remake Ian's distortion and tone but you did it pretty well imo, good job
Yes, it felt very unnatural to me at first, sometimes it even hurt but now I've been doing it for so long it became a habit of mine. Thankfully, I feel comfortable with them. So keep practicing!
Nice guitar. Also I love your playing, you're really good. I play guitar myself, but I'm by far not as good as you yet. Keep uploading, I like it. Oh and also, Fender Telecasters are awesome, but I've got a strat
check out the version on Songsterr, it is good and I found it pretty easy to learn up to now(first day today->60% speed) even though I only play the guitar for 1.5 years
Cody111079 That's amazing, I've been playing for 2 1/2 years now, it feels like I've only been playing for a month though. :D But I'm working on it! Did (or perhaps do) you take lessons or are you self-taught?
I'm mostly self-taught but I took a few lessons a couple of years ago as I thought I wasn't progressing much. I learned mainly from watching my favourite players and listening (which I would recommend to everybody).
Jaco Theunissen That's the first positive thing I'm hearing about that tone :D Back then I had somewhat cheap gear so the tone is just Way Huge Swollen Pickle fuzz pedal.
Cody111079 Nice. I posted that comment pretty early in the video where the majority of riffs you played were from III. Awesome job btw. II and Afraid of Heights are my favorites, but they've all been amazing.
