I know I 'missed' a lot of awesome songs and probably agree with the song you are about to mention but let me clearify a little bit on how this video came to be: I came across some oldish really fun riffs, and wanted to make a video about that. I noticed a lot of em were played in the key of A, or E with powerchords, the I-iii-IV or the I-IV-V chords, and some other similarities. The list grew and grew, and I finally transformed it into just badass riffs, because I didn't really know a better name :) But sure, keep the suggestions coming!

Before I started playing guitar at the end of last year, I was in pure awe of this video and its bad assery. Now I'm still in awe, but having a better understanding of guitar also helps this badassery seem more achievable as well. This video also played a huge role in pushing me towards the guitar.
Man, you're so precise. It's a pleasure to watch you play. I'm following what you're doing on the fretboard and think to myself, "Oh, wow. I never knew that was so easy to play." Then I pick up my own guitar and think "Oh, wow. It's not as easy as Paul makes it look."
My son is in love with “badass” rock & roll and learning guitar. Oddly enough he freaked when he seen you lace up your boots and is now begging for a pair for himself, literally begging! Even said he will quit wearing sweatpants every day if he can get some “sick” boots like yours 😂!
This man didnt just play sick riffs. He just sparked a career in music for hundreds. This video was actually why i dropped the drums and played the guitar.

Has anybody noticed the pick transfer from thumb to middle finger at 6:00 and how he then readjusted it back to normal? That's more difficult to me than all the riff Paul just played. He's a MUGICIAN
Ya it seems hard but just like with all other things guitar it eventually becomes second nature, the key is to practice your balls off...at least touch it for an hour a day if you're not willing to seperate your balls from your body as a result of excessive practice
It was really great hearing all these iconic guitar riffs played back-to-back -- and it certainly proves that rock 'n' roll isn't all the same as my Dad would claim!
I bought a Kemper Stage Profiler during my pandemic lockdown and was pleased to see you roll through a bunch of presets on yours. Well done. The fact that you managed that in one take is mysterious.Do I have to check for punch ins and video edits? Well done. That's a lot of groove changes flawlessly.

@@liamlyda2116 hello my good sir, I would to apologise for making a severe and continuous lapse of my judgment as I was completely unaware of who mcregor really is. I had no idea that was a mixed martial artist, which to me is pretty Impressive. On that note I would like to ask if you could please accept my apology, I would also like to thank you for taking the time to read this.
@@Alfin_d24 What suggests that he didn't? He was simply stating that you can't have a list of badass riffs without Back in Black. Whether or not it is in the video doesn't change that.
Sweet playing dude. Always enjoy your vids. Defo needed the addition of "Aint talkin bout love". One of the best hard rock/guitar riffs ever written imo, and of course it is only my opinion👌🏻
Carlos Zetina I know when me and my bro are practicing we start and there's no sound from the guitar we check everything legit everything except where the cord goes
When I was taking lessons, this is what I "hoped" I sounded like...just playing riffs and intros...no boring lessons. ( On my Les Paul Jr. solid body ) oh, the good old days.
Sunshine of your love . One of my first songs on electric guitars. Thank you I really enjoyed hearing you play many old songs I used to love . I need to play guitar again .
Lmao at all the people saying bs like "why isn't this song here?" Was he supposed to include very single semi-popular ever made? Ever heard of opinions?
Lots of folks are always looking for others to confirm their opinions, instead of broadening their views. But I am happy about all (well, most off 'em) the comments!
Paul Davids You would be right, if the video title had the word "MY": MY top 25 BADASS Guitar Riffs. But you didn't add "MY" not because without this words in the title still mean that this is YOUR top. No, sir. You consciously (or perhaps subconsciously) not added "MY" because the video will have more views. The psychology of the masses. "People don't like telling you things. They love to contradict you." (Sherlock s1e3)
That's awesome! You're going to be able to play them! Not immediately, but after a couple of months, you're gonna learn them piece by piece! Keep practicing! 👍🤘
@@avinci3116 poor you. You are screaming for some form of validation probably staring at your phone the past three hours waiting for a reply. Lighten up man, or get a life either one :)
