I have this camera. Takes very, very good pictures. Without knowing a lot about it, I took pictures of a good friend's wedding with it along side of the professional camera man. I had the camera in auto setting. My buddy and I was very munch surprise at the quality between the pics. He decided to keep the pics taken with the F-828. That's how good the camera is. It might be old the lens is made by the best. The camera will give U good pics.
Yes, I have noticed. The photos do have a kind of warm old feel to them as well, and look especially amazing on original iMacs. Thank you for watching and commenting! ( :
I started my digital photography journey with the dsc-f717, awesome camera, when the F828 came out, fell in love with it on first sight, but decided to make the jump to de DSLR with the Canon 30D, Sony should bring back an updated version of the prosumer line of cameras, tilting body and all!
8 meg pixels is very adequate, to get to the maga pixel we have now requires alot more processing. The Carl Zeiss lens couldn't be bettered, huge zoom ranges tend to be a compromise and holding the camera steady is an issue. You can crop half the image to a 4mp the only issue you might have with that CF memory card, is replacing it. I have a 36mp DSLR full frame camera, when I want to take images at distance, I select apsc mode using on the centre of the sensor. This brings my mp rate down to 12mp, that way it minimises buffering. If I saw this camera 2nd hand to buy, I would, once I found out, replacement battery and CF card availability.
I am considering purchasing this camera or its highly prized predecessors F707 or F717. I owned the F717 i believe (its photos were about 3 mb in size). It took crystal clear photos up close and easily rivaled any DSLR. If you owned any of these cameras, what are your thoughts on the matter?
Sorry, never owned the F707 or F717. From what I can tell the F828 is an improvement in every way, apart from needing an external magnet to take infrared photos. I do highly recommend the F828 as it has good battery life, is very reliable, very ergonomic, and takes great photos (particularly good colors, I rarely ever edit the photos this camera takes).
Can you share more about the composite output? Can you turn off the user interface text at all so your A/V out view is just the video? And what cable are you using? Is it a 3.5mm to A/V?
You can turn off all the UI elements with one of the buttons under the screen. The cable is in fact a 3.5mm to A/V, although those cables often have different pin-outs.
Thank you for this video. I just got this camera and it's my first nice camera. I know next to nothing so trying to figure it out. Only using for photographs no video
Hello! I have a camera of the same model, but without a battery, and I would like you to give me the information about the battery so that I can buy it online? Thank you.
There are two ways, 1 is you could put either the CF card or memory stick (depending on what you have) into an external card reader that plugs into the pc. The second option is you could get a mini usb cable and plug the camera directly into the pc.
@@AlexandrTVOfficialChannel Well they’re about 10 years old. I happened to find one (broken battery latch and no power cable) on Facebook. Going to pick it up tomorrow. I looked for one after seeing your video.
