Hi Sandro What a fantastic series Just great to see what you use in your everyday detailing jobs All the videos in this series were very snappy and greatcto watch plus being very educational You just have to sit back watch and learn Its a testiment to all your hard work and editing skills So keep them coming In Sandro we trust 😂😂
Thanks for another great video, its a real good help to us DIYers too. I do like how you give a wider brand range of good options rather than any sponsorship/attempting to get some influencing your decision 🙂
Glad to see more vids coming out Sandro! I don’t always comment as I usually stream on tv and don’t know how but rest assured you have a dedicated follower in BC Canada! Cheers mate!
It's been fantastic getting an up close look at what's in your detailing arsenals (both at home and work). I would love to see you do a video (or two) about detailing at home. You could maybe share some of your experiences from your mobile detailing days. I really enjoyed the Suzuki Jimney video, so I thought I would ask. Cheers Sandro, and have a great week.
I have shared the knowledge you gave me to my boss. We have switched to nv finesse as our one step. We are currently switching to lake country foam pads now. Slowly by slowly we are becoming a higher end car wash.
That’s so awesome to hear! You guys obviously care about providing great service and results for your customers which I’m sure will be appreciated and contribute to the businesses success.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing exactly. We are currently preparing for the garage to be renovated into a polishing bay and detailing area with specialised lights.
I steam clean the windows and wipe with a single towel (no streaks): The Rag Company - The Gauntlet - Microfiber Korean 70/30 Blend, Drying Wheel Towel, 900gsm, 12in x 12in, Grey
One glass cleaner that I use besides Stoner's glass cleaner is Majestic Solutions gel glass cleaner which can be used under the hot sun and doesn't steak. Something that most of the times cause streaks on glass cleaning is how saturated the towel is, so better to have two or three towels specially the waffle weave types 😁👍
Thank you Sandro for the high quality video as always. Good alternatives for interior cleaners that add some UV protection and have anti static properties I have tried are DIY Detail Interior Clean and Protect (carcareco) or Turtle Wax Inside Job (repco/supercheap). Both similar to Carpro InnerQD, just boils down to me what scent you like.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing absolutely. Watching your videos over the years has not only expanded my knowledge but absolutely made me a better detailer. I use NV Nova Pro in my shop in New Orleans thanks to you 🙌🏻
On multi X directions on the bottle says not to use on leather and bare metal materials. Have you ever experienced any issues on using it? Greta series of videos. Congratulations sir
Thanks and yes I have used it on leather - it’s also demonstrated in an older video I did - I do dilute it 1:20 and it’s been safe and effect. Having said that I’ll typically used Carpro Inside as I do prefer it.
Hi Sandro, I recently applied CarPro Leather 2.0 on my steering wheel and seats. What product would you recommend for maintaining that coating? Thanks! I have to say, I really appreciate your hard work and dedication. As a car enthusiast i learned so much from your content. Keep up the great work!
Thanks that’s really nice to hear. Personally I think less is best with maintaining CQ Leather as you don’t want to overly mask it and prevent it from doing it’s job. I would personally use a light quick interior detailer like InnerQD and just wipe it down regularly.
Great video, can you do a video like this just dedicated to your favourite microfibre towels for each use. I.e towels you use for wax removal, drying towels, interior etc.
Another great video Sandro. What would you recommend for rejuvenating older Alcantara? I have tried a couple of car store products with dissappointing results, but maybe it is my method as there seems to be number of different approches shown on you tube. Have you covered this in another video? The car is a 12 year old bmw japanese import in NZ, visually it is clean but just lacks any life in tbe material. Thx.
Love the content mate, any thoughts on cleaning the fabric on a GTD (diesel version of the GTI) Thinking I’ll hit them with a small wet vac to pull the gunk out. Like to hear your thoughts.
Thanks and yes you can certainly use a wet & dry vac to extract the fabric, typically you’ll firstly scrub them down with a fabric cleaner (Shine Supply Carpet/upholstery 1:4 is great) and you may want to spray some hot water into the fabric to penetrate deeper (like a hot water extractor) before you use your vac.
Thanks Sandro! Can CarPro Inside be diluted further than the manufacturer recommended usage of neat or 1:1? If so, I’d love to hear you recommended dilutions for medium and light duty jobs. Thanks!
Yes it can, I use it neat or 1:1 for deeper cleaning as required, 1:2/2:3 for more moderate cleaning requirements and even as much as 1:5 for light cleaning duties
Thanks and InnerQD is perhaps a little more focused on cleaning and can also be used on glass and instrument screens/display, Nourish is a little more durable and does a little more to condition leather/vinyls but shouldn’t be used on glass/screens.
There pros and cons (as I tried to point out) with each of them, it can come down to what you prefer rather than one being necessary better than the other.
Hey Sandro thanks for efforts here Bud, what product would you recommend for getting rid of damn makeup and foundation smudging that the Girls leave.. Have a brand new car and it annoys the .... out or me. Cheers mate.
I’ve had good success with Carpro Inside removing makeup and even sunscreen reside with a good brush like the Vikan firm interior brush. If you’re still struggling to remove it, a slightly stronger citrus cleaner like Shine Supply Carper clean 1:4 can also be used on both upholstery and plastics/vinyls for some spot cleaning - but if it’s leather, I’d stick to Inside and even repeat the process if need be.
Nice video as always!👌👌👌 I use the Analan pet hair remover as.well as the Fur-eel.v2, Sonax Alcantara cleaner Watching from El Salvador since working for the next week here
