It's easier and better to add the Hoisin/plum sauce to the pancake FIRST to the centre and cover the whole area of pancake with sauce in a 'circular' motion with the back of a spoon.

Live in the States, it's hard to find decent Chinese, mostly flavourless slop, prawn crackers don't exist here. Miss those. Love watching your reviews, makes me homesick.

It's simple. In the 1970's when Chinese restaurants and takeaways became very popular the MSG lie was used by other restaurant businesses as a tool to try and discredit the Chinese restaurant industry. This mainly happen in America and spread globally.

Plastic tubs and boiled looking egg "fried" rice. No chance. Can always tell a bad Chinese from a mile off with their pettis pois peas in the rice and plastic tubs for microwave ease of use. As for the duck. Same shit that turns up from any other Chinese only you didn't even get any spring onion with yours so go figure. Your local is your local though so I can understand your loyalty. 👍

Presume you haven't eaten in a top Chinese restaurant then i.e. in Chinatown i.e. Manchester for example? Just looks like any local UK style Chinese place to me. Nothing special. Hey you should try Chicken and cashew if you like this..
