I ran this exact deck at Milwaukee regionals this past June! It's one of my faves :) I actually just ran a 1-1 Espeon and added a 1-1 Flying Pikachu. I really like Espeon's attack as well, which can hit pretty heavy against certain decks.
I'd suggest possibly working a water energy in there, or even a luminous energy. Gives you the option to potentially aqua loop a lumineon to remove it from the board, and possibly reuse it later even.
I've been running this deck based off your old one ever since rotation. Has a few vulneravilities but is prettt consistent. I love it. One of the few decks I'd consider buying irl.
Need some advice. I sell cards. I have about 5k code cards sitting there that I haven't bothered to sell yet. Is it worth getting into ptcgL? I like competitive card games. Yugioh, teppen, snap, smashup - I like strategy. Should I just scan them all and get into pokemon?
you honestly dont need code cards for the game, you start with a bunch of free decks that you can upgrade for free after little play time, codes help tho
What sets are the code cards from? Only cards from about 2021-present are in the standard rotation right now, so any older sets than that serve no real purpose. The newer sets tend to sell higher. Also, you can only redeem 400 code cards per set, so if you happen to have more then 400 of one set you can just sell the extras. Now is a pretty good time to get into the game because the battle pass gives a top tier meta deck for free on the first tier (Chien-Pao ex). Pokémon is one of the easiest TCGs to learn in my opinion. so you shouldn’t have a hard time learning it.
@@FrostyLosty they're mostly Alt SwSh sets. I keep up with the game to know when "bulk" becomes 💸 🤑 so I don't think it would take much at all. So the older codes from like xy era aren't of any real value?
@@b1gpapan3cr04 I did a quick search and it seems they all go for a few cents to a few dollars a pop, even the older ones. But as @williaweird578 said, you really don’t need them. The game gives plenty of free stuff to get you most of the stuff you’ll need. I would probably just sell them all, even if you decide to pick up PTCGL.
I personally buy code cards in bulk when I am missing something for a deck. As soon as I pull it though I just exchange currency to get dupes. Code cards help you get what you need faster/easier. Otherwise it’s more of a grind for packs and hopefully you pull what you need/want.
After seeing how much fun you had... I tried it out as well and won 4 out of 5 games so far. This is really fun and opponents do not expect Espeon to work like it does ^-^ Thank you, will see how much further I can take this... it seems more enjoyable than the version AzulGG is playing with Hawlucha and Medicham in there!
How did Arceus get hit for 40 damage from Sableye when you have Espeon on the bench? How did the damage hit for 40 damage instead of 20 if the skill was scratch?
