Ha. I wasn't sure when I first saw them, but when you put them together with the other flowers, I can really see how they could look amazing. So you've flipped me from 'no' to 'yes'!!
@@OriginFlowersNI I like drying and using them in wreaths and dried bouquets as well as (depending on the final hue) using the petals in christmas bobbles. Would you happen to know what cariety of bamboo you have plantes. It looks lovely!
@@robinlang4063 a Christmas baubles, what a lovely idea! The bamboo has been there so long that I'm not 100% sure but I would guess that it's Phyllostachys Bissettii
To keep the colours better you could try hanging them under your staging to keep them out of the sun, maybe with some shade cloth draped. The bleached bamboo and bells are absolutely gorgeous though.
I've been drying flowers for a couple of years now, it's fun experimenting with all flowers, wild as well, and at what stage to harvest. Sedums have been my biggest surprise because they are quite a sappy stemmed flower, but worked well. The Dahlias on their own look like most things a bunch of dead flowers but it's how they're arranged together that can turn them into a wow factor. Enjoyed your video. Many thanks Janx England
Hi Jan, thank you for watching! Sedums are so pretty, ours have been all used up in our bouquets. Next year I'm going to save some for drying. Top tip. Thank you!
