I've tried a lot of headphones, this is a quick review of my favourite pair. 📈 My Cycling Coaching services: www.nero.club/... Follow me on Strava: / strava
Thanks for the review. My B&O earbuds are an identical design. The braided cord will tear after time. But great to know the battery life as I am looking forward a replacement pair and the B&O when new were 5 hours.
Audio guy here. If you don't want to stump up for the Jaybirds, the Creative Outlier Sport have 11hrs battery life, microphone and driver quality is great for the price, and also have the magnetised backs.
I found the aftershockz worked well for commuting and endurance rides (podcasts etc) but very hard to hear if doing efforts or going fast. I snapped them once they were out of warranty 🤷♂️. Been using airpod pros since but the wind noise isn’t great
Years ago, when these type of headphones first came out, I tried wireless headphones for my gym workouts. They were top quality and cost over $100.00. But when I moved around (walking, shifting), the air interference with the signal from my phone was unbearable. I returned them. Did you have any interference with the signal as you rode your bike?
i have a pair of jaybird x3's i bought years ago and i didn't really like how they fit in my ears. I'm going to look into these tarah pro's but it seems like jaybird no longer makes them.
What is the sound quality like on these? I’ve tried several Bluetooth earphones, all pretty pricey and with good reviews and just found they completely lack bass/bottom end compared to even cheap wired earphones - is that the case with these too would you say??
Not illegal to ride with headphones. However, it IS illegal to ride without a bell on your bike. Non-bellers are the scum we should be concerned about.
