the 76mm jumbo is my favourite american tank, with talisman i research most of tier 5 with him

they suck now because my 5.7 US lineup gets 6.7 games about 95% of the time

I just bought the jumbo, but I dropped playing the us line up because I couldn’t do good things with them, but after watching a few clips I’m seeing better opportunities to kill with them that were unclear before, however the tiger E are everywhere... FYI, yet to use the jumbo, currently running 75mm Sherman’s

cuz gaijin GmbH purely cares about the wehraboos in game rather than the balance,,, personally i prefer the easy 8 to go back to 5.3 to make a great lineup with the jumbo

US 5.7 lineup is still one of the best I have, it's fun to bully german players with their shitty KTs and Panthers with my M4A3 76, M4A2 76, M36 and a couple of P-47D

This was every ones first tank to 5.0 and up we had it for a prolonged time while we where transferring to Realistic battles there’s a reason it’s a lot of people’s favoritetank

That's what sucks tho, these people have Gaijin on their side since they "balance" vehicles based solely on player statistics, so when those people play like morons and die a bunch because of it, Gaijin only sees that as people dying because the tank is supposedly underperforming, not taking into account the possible, *cough* and probable *cough cough*, variation in player skill from each nation and BR spread. So yeah, It's probably only a matter of time before a new wave of players install the game, skip the tutorial, then rush straight to the Tiger since they saw that one "Documentary" from History Channel that said the Tiger was an unstoppable monster. Then, once they get outskilled, they'll cry like bitches saying the entire Shermanline is OP and needs to be raised to 5.7, and Gaijin will just blindly comply, since those same players have lowered the statistics enough by adamantly refusing to try to learn or improve, and instead just continue trying to drive straight into the entire enemy team expecting the tank to do everything for them, then blaming their failure on the Sherman 76 being "Overpowered" when getting caught out of position and open to perfect flanking shots. @@OddBawZ Perhaps the Panther F? The fastest reload by a small margin of its brothers, but among the weakest engine and subjectively worse armor than the turret of the G model. At a 6.0 br it is at best a good backup for the Tiger 2P and german Bulldog, but also hardly ever faces even a 5.7 downtier thanks to the 6.3 tiering black hole. Playing it solo can be rough.

Close,Wet storage is where ammo racks were surrounded by water filled jackets so if the ammo were hit,it would reduce the chance of it catching on fire and exploding

"dry stowage" is regular stowage in a sherman that made them highly flamable, i.e. in the sides which is why many shermans have little boxes on the side. wet stowage (w) moved the ammo from the sides to the floor and where surrounded by water, the water was to instantly douse the fire if hit. wet stowage moved sherman burn rates from 80-60% to just 6%

@@lol-un6nl The Sherman before wet storage had the same burn rate as pretty much every other tank besides some of the German tanks, the Sherman had a burn rate of 60% which was the same as most British tanks, whereas some of the German tanks had burn rates around 80%. The wet storage drastically decreased these burn rates as you have noted.

@@aflyingcowboy31 the panther was notorious for burning when hit, but since it was a big massive fuck off tank nobody faslsely calls it a "ronson" or a "death trap"

@@lol-un6nl Which in all honesty isn't even an attack on the tank itself, I mean if a round hits explosive ammunition what else does someone suspect is gonna happen, even in todays age its going to happen, hence why some tanks have blow out panels.

To be fair the british Firefly has a fair bunch of negatives aside from the solid shot. The awful mobility, gun handling, and depression really limit it. it's great at putting holes in things, but he gun is it's only real selling point. Everything else is significantly inferiour to much lower BR tanks in the british line.

The Panther's turret neck is completely flat and able to be penned by the 76 (and numerous other guns) easily.

@@bluntcabbage6042thank you, I know this. I've done it for a almost a year now. BUT, I just tried it. I do no damage at all. It shows the turret ring itself absorbing all of my shot. It doesn't even stop turret rotation. I could make the same shot 10 times and pen maybe once. I'm not winning I'm not complaining, just what I saw in this video does not happen anymore for me. I'm not bouncing shots it's hitting but being absorbed by the turret ring. Between the inconsistencies in pen and the fact that one 20mm shot can destroy my whole tank without hitting ammo, I'm done with 5.0. it is literally no fun especially when it seems like no one else knows how to play a Sherman on any of the team's I'm on. My team hasn't won a 5.0 or 5.3 game in idk how long.

Premium has no effect on ability. This tank is the king of good positioning and map knowledge. The gun won't work well if you're not certain where to shoot.

you can on either side of the turret cheeks on the tiger 2P but its a really awkward shot sometimes from range :)
