Secrecy is a common thread between all of the stories. Keeping a huge part of yourself (sexuality/interests) a secret from your partner for years is always going to backfire. No matter what the secret is, the person on the other end is always going to feel betrayed.

I think it’s for ppl with hypoglycemia, cause if I don’t eat all day my blood sugar would drop and I would end up passed out by hour 8 💀

The hyperfixation on the gulping was killing me lol. I wouldn't pay too much attention to a comment like that lmfao people salivate it's normal, some people are just more sensitive to the sounds. The furry situation kinda makes me think of that scene in high school musical when everyone was coming out with their weird hobbies that didn't match their stereotype. I'm not a furry but I've seen the work that goes into fursuits and I know they take a lot of work to make, but I'm not a big fan of the sexualization of animals 😅😅 good for her for being supportive though at least he isn't on the freaky side of things. Perhaps community theater is in his future 💃

ok, have to defend the closeted lesbian at least a little bit. it takes such an extreme amount of repression for those to be the actions you take… sucks for OP, but other than lying about DV, apparently, she didn’t do anything that harmed him directly. like, staying in a relationship with a man for years when she knows she’s a lesbian is maladaptive, self-harming behavior. tough luck for him that he caught a rare stray from homo/lesbophobia as a straight dude, but it’s definitely not something she did to him. also, he probably needs to look inward a bit. his friendships don’t seem very strong at all, but even more than that, how could you be in a relationship with a lesbian for 7+ years and never notice? like, that’s at least a little bit on him. and it certainly says something about him as a romantic partner, so

Yeah mostly I think that the things she lied about to her friends about him was just the cherry on top and made things a lot worse. I would agree with you about all the other stuff! I can’t imagine how hard that would be for her bc I have never been in that position and I’m sure it’s an internal struggle for so long that affected her mentally a lot!
