Thank you so much I'm over here having serious anxiety, panic attacks. I'm scheduled to have my hysterectomy in a few days and I'm so scared. Thanks for sharing your story it really helped a lot "juice box" dammit I was worried as well so I told my doc don't touch my ovaries!! I'll keep you posted and yes this huge one is sitting on top of my bladder as well have me pissing like a race horse omg!! I don't plan on having more children and I definitely don't want any more cycle!! #YouveBlessedMe TFS ❤️

You're, welcome! I know that, anxiety, that you are feeling. It overtakes your mind and you feel, super scared, alone and cofused, wondering, if you are making a good decision. All you have is, what-if questions, bogging you down. You got me laughing, because, I can hear you telling your doc, not, to touch your ovaries! lol That fibroid, that was sitting on my ovaries was so annoying. I know what you mean about constantly having to use the restroom. I've answered some questions and gave a few tips to viewers, in the comment section. Whenever you feel up to it, read through them. It'll help you, because, you are going to need some help. Just to give a few, I'll give you 10. 1. No stairs! 2. No reaching! 3.No lifting more than 5lbs, even, a gallon of milk! 4. No chinese food, such as, fried rice! 5. KEEP LAXATIVES AROUND ALL THE TIME, SUCH AS, prune juice and suppositiories (I used both). You're going to be constipated. 6. Learn, how to get in and out of bed, because, your abdominal is going to be hurting. I used my legs, first, then pushed my body up, to get in and out of bed. 7. SIT DOWN, SIT DOWN, SIT DOWN SOMEWHERE! Our bodies trick us, to thinking, that we feel better and it's really not. You have to rest and relax, as much as, possible. 8. Keep plenty of pillows with you at all times, even, in car rides. Your body is going to feel like something is going to fall out and it hurts when we sneeze, cough and laugh. Press the pillow against your stomach as a security net, even, while sleeping. The pillow will be your friend. 9. Have your friends and family around you as much as possible. You're going to need constant help, at least, the first 2 weeks. 10. Eat healthy, clean, non greasy, foods. Little things, like that, causes, setbacks and they are not fun:( Alot of the things, you will learn naturally, but, it is a process and takes a long time.Once you've healed, you will feel so much better. It took me about 2 full years, to heal. I had the old school bikini cut surgery. Happy Wellness and Health to you:)

I’m at that point now; partial hysterectomy or continue with pain, etc. I was having issues at age 34 and requested an ultrasound; two small fibroids. No suggestion to monitor them through ultrasounds, I just discussed it with my doctor for six years and endured issues. PCP and OBGYN suggested hysterectomy because of my age now 40 and I have two children. I have five fibroids now and partial hysterectomy is scheduled for next month. I’m still skeptical regardless of the issues. I’m just praying for peace of mind with my decision. Thanks for this information.

My surgery is scheduled in August. I have fibroids also. I’m 45 and never wanted kids. I don’t have a support system at home (I live alone) so I’ll be on my own during recovery. That’s what makes me the most nervous. Everyone says you NEED others to help you. It will be a laparoscopic procedure so I’m hoping the recovery process won’t be too brutal. Thank you for sharing your experience. 💛
@NeziNappsakaNezi
@NeziNappsakaNezi 3 года назад
Yes, you will need a support system and a team. Actually, you need 2 people that can help you for the first two weeks, because, the surgery will be hard on your body and you can, possibly, go into a depression. Plus, you won't be able to drive, if you use a car for transportation. The simpliest things can set you back in your healing process, such as walking up and down stairs, washing your body, especially your butt or picking up a gallon of milk. I hate that you will be on your own, but see if you can talk to doctors, neighbors or an ex-friend, that can help you. The good thing is, the laparoscpic procedure is not as rough as the old school bikini cut, as far as, recovery time, but it is still a big surgery and takes your breath away. Child, you gonna be a little winded, tired, drained and in pain. Getting in and out of bed for the first few days is a beast, because your abs and stomach area will be tender. Please, reach out to somebody or reschedule your appointment until you do. Thank you for commenting. 😊

@@NeziNappsakaNezi I wanted to follow up with you regarding my procedure since you were so kind to respond. So my procedure in August was canceled 2 days prior to my surgery date because the hospitals stopped performing elective surgeries due to the high amount of Covid patients taking up all of the hospital beds. I was eventually rescheduled for Oct 18th. So I had my laparoscopic procedure 4 days ago. The doctor removed a fibroid the size of a grapefruit (I asked for photos) so I could see for myself. I had my left ovary removed and kept my right. I spent the night in the hospital and was released the next day. 3 days after the surgery I had ZERO pain, and no longer needed pain pills. I have no issues walking, driving, sleeping etc… I have a bloated belly from the CO2 gas but that will subside with walking. I was told the gas in my stomach would travel to my shoulders and cause pain but nope. None of that has happened. I was nervous because I still don’t have (live in) help during recovery but I didn’t need it. I’m barely spotting and can’t wait to be cleared to go back to the gym because I feel fine. I truly believe the laparoscopic procedure is so much easier on the body because it’s minimally invasive vs the old school bikini cut hysterectomy (which my mom had) which took her MONTHS to recover from. Had I known I was going to be feeling this damn good I would have done this years ago instead of suffering every month! I’m so grateful to God that he blessed me with a wonderful surgeon and a smooth recovery. So many nurses in the hospital had the same procedure done and kept saying I’d feel fine within a week and 4 days later, I feel fantastic. Thank you again for documenting your experience. It really helped me move forward with deciding to have my procedure. ☀️💛

No, I felt normal. Now, last year, my hormones was popping out of control. My surgery was in 2009, so, I don't think my hormones was crazy because of my hysterectomy. I'm getting older and closer to menopause. I think, that's why, I was so crazy. I nipped that craziness in the bud with some wild yam supplement pills. They worked like a charm and I only took them for 3 days. Don't worry about that. You'll be fine, especially, since you kept your ovaries.

Diagnosed with an orange sized fibroid in November 2016. Had a hysterectomy yesterday and the tumor was the size of a football. My uterus was the size of a 20 week pregnant woman. I'm thinking you feel, much better and if so, good for you. Happy Health and Body and stay blessed, as well.

Thanks for sharing your experience! Congrats on your wise decision you will really help a lot of women out there and the ones like me that are researching their options and at the same time going through this issue and many doctors just tell them "to wait and see." They are not the ones dealing with all the inconveniences of having pains and bleeding so heavily that you don't even can leave the house! I am scheduled for the Da Vinci procedure on Feb. 21th (partial hysterectomy). I've been dealing with a lot of bleeding for about 4 years but always had the spotting and uncontrolled bleeding problem. Probably I also had the fibroids for a while, they just didn't discovered them on time. They finally did in one on my visits to the ER. I was bleeding so heavily! I am happy that I am choosing this procedure. I am now 47 years and approaching my menopause years and really don't want to have another issue to deal with during that time. I want to fully enjoy my life without fibroids. I will share one of my many experiences; I Went to FL to visit my sister and we decided to visit the Universal Studios. I was bleeding at the time but I just wanted to have some fun so I went ahead! Once I started walking around in the heat, cause it was the hot FL summer, I started bleeding like crazy. My body just draining all the blood it could, and I also felt the change in my mood, I rapidly felt tired and exhausted. I got so upset and called my doctor, I explained that I had come to FL for a quick vacation and all the walking seemed to further aggravated my problem. He advised to go and lay down until I arrived back home. He scheduled a DNC upon my arrival. That was one my short vacation in bed watching movies in my sisters house. There were many more times like this and I am just gave up life because of this. I go to work, then I stay home laying around, doing what I can just chatting with my hub., cause there is no sex life. We are growing so distant...I am tired of living like this... So thanks for your video and I will keep you posted once I have my surgery. Question: Did you experience any irregular bleeding at all? I you didn't then you were one of the lucky ones!!

I'm 35 and trying to get mine scheduled. Haven't wanted children for nearly a decade and advised people to adopt/foster. Always got a "but it's not yours" "but what if your husband wants one" "but, but, but". I was TIRED. My pain grew from heavy periods, to multiple hospital stays for multiple infusions, to polyp growth, to the growth of MULTIPLE fibroids. I was mad at everyone I'd ever tusted and a life and all the money and time I'd spent. I'm only angry that I postponed my own life, my own wellbeing, and my own quality of life because of what everyone else had told me, including doctors. I CAN'T WAIT to have a hysterectomy because it still sounds better than the hell I've been going through for 25 years. I wish you well and hope you find peace with YOUR body and YOUR health! ❤️

Same Amanda.. I had four the size of tennis balls and by god the past three years were hell because of it. Was very sick, lost a lot of weight due to being so sick, lost all appetite for food made me feel sick after every meal.When it came to that time of the month I was having periods that sometimes went for a lucky 3-4 days to 1-2 MONTHS straight. And because of this as well with the loss of so much blood every time I ended up in hospital 7 times over 2 years having to get blood transfusions and iron transfusions as well. At one stage I had lost that much blood over a six month period that I was rushed into hospital by a ambulance by my private doctor, was feeling not so good at work one day, left work and went to see my private doctor he took blood tests and sent me home to rest, half hr later he himself then came to my house and said I have called a ambulance you need to go to hospital right now before something bad happens.. I was like “ok but I feel fine now” he said “ my dear you are not fine you blood levels are not right at all and you are a very sick girl right now!, And with the amount of blood that you have left that is running thu your body YOU SHOULD NOT BE ALIVE!”.. he said, your body as gotten that used to of this and somehow your body as worked out how to go into overdrive and has kept you alive!.. I was gobsmacked 😳. That’s where they had found the fibroids when all the tests where happing. So all that happen and thousands of more doctors appointment and specialist appointment over the two years, see cancer doctors because my blood wasn’t right, the stress of just everything and having to deal with being a single mother of two boys, having a bloody period that was killing me, me going to specialist appointments and breaking down in tears telling them to just give me a hysterectomy already so I can start living normal, so my boys had their mother back and not so sick all the time.. so it’s been 11 months now since I had my hysterectomy and I am on cloud nine AND FEEL AMAZING!!! 😊👌🏼.. has been a massive life changer for me and I’m so glad that I did it.!

You don't know their diets so changing diets have nothing to do with it. Lots of women choose to be childless so either your projecting your own issues on this woman or your jealous of childless women. Live your own life leave people alone.

Thank you for sharing your story. I am scheduled for a full hysterectomy in January 2020. In 2001, they told me i had 3 fibroids which was found during a ultrasound while carrying my daughter (a lot of pain and problems during the pregnancy). After which I asked to have them removed. The doctor told me at age 32, i was still wanting to have another pregnancy and the removal could cause me not to get pregnant. Well the father and i cancelled the engagement and ended the relationship 3 years after. I haven't been in a serious relationship since. Now at age 50, i am not trying to get pregnant and those 3 little fibroids have grown into multiple (to many to pick up on an ultrasound abdominal or vaginal). My normal heavy cycles of 5 days are now 8 days and so heavy i wear 2 super pads an hour. Anemic and Iron deficient and like she said in the video the discovery of the multiple fibroids is when i wanted to jump off the table. The procedure will remove my cervix, fallopian tubs and uterus. Depending on the condition of my overaris (one with a small cyst) they may be removed as well. My sister had an emergency in 2001 due to endometriosis. She told me about the phantom periods. But my question what are the differences for those who kept thier overaris and those who did not?

I am not.comfortable about the surgery but I know I need it. I want to have the Hysterectomy - Laparoscopic but because of the size of the fibroids, they have to make a vertical incision. this video helped me but the nerves are still there. L. Gillard I know what you mean, with having all of those mixed feelings. I spent 2 days in the hospital. The doctors tried to make walk around, but, it was too painful in my abdomen. So, they sent me the head RN and she forced me to get out of bed, but, she was sweet about it. lol Also, they won't let you the hospital, unless, you have a bowel movement or pass gas. I ended up passing gas, so they let me out in 2 days.

hi, I am about two weeks and days out of surgery. this thing is rough. I had a a.few hiccups. after surgery my blood pressure and hemoglobin dropped. my doctor was very concerned and wanted to.keep me a blood transfusion. The day after surgery my blood count raised a.few points but my BP was still low. I refused the transfusion because my blood counts has always been low my entire life. A week after discharge I was advised by my doc to come the office for blood work to check my blood count. that week I tripped up on my iron intake and geritol. blood count increased to a satisfyingly number for my doctor. a major problem I had the first two weeks was making a.bowel movement. it was awful! what we're some things , if any, you did to ensure bowel movement? was the there a particular diet you went by? this things is horrible. I took dulcolax and when it kicked in I was miserable; pain, pain and more pain but never a bowel movement! my bowel finally moved but it was the most painful thing I have every experienced. I was glad but each movement is painful! Any suggestions...

My doctor told me i had to have them removed. My uterus was stretched to capacity. I had fibroids that weighed 20 pounds. Yes that was not a typo they were 20 pounds. I had the surgery in Sept '11. It was the best thing i could have done. I'm 100% better after the hysterectomy.

I'm still scared because I don't have much support after surgery but thanks so much for this info.
@NeziNappsakaNezi
@NeziNappsakaNezi 7 лет назад
You're, welcome! Yeah, the juice box will still be juicy! lol If you keep your ovaries, things, shouldn't dry out. My doctor told me, our vaginas get wet on it's own, naturally and the ovaries help it even more. Are you having your ovaries removed, too? If they are healthy, tell your doctor, NOT, to remove them. Our ovaries tend to keep us, balanced, in our everyday life. There are other options to having a hysterectomy. I had a couple of friends who opted to have a procedure done, where, the doctor stopped the blood supply to the fibroids. I forgot the name of it, though. The only thing is, the fibroids come back after time, unless, you go through menopause. Just talk to your doctor about other options or get a second opinion. The hysterectomy is the only way to stop blood supply, permanently, to fibroids. Menopause, stops blood supply to fibroids, too. I'm sorry you don't have any support, because, you will need it. Talk to your doctor about, counseling or after-surgery-support or support groups. Also, you will need assistance at home. NO HEAVY LIFTING (A GALLON OF MILK IS TOO HEAVY) AND NO STAIRS! Women, don't believe me, when I tell them this and they be wondering, why, they still bleeding, excessively. You have to REST AND RELAX or you will heal super slow.

Thanks for the video ♡. I have Endometriosis & Adenomyosis. My cycles have been messed up since the age of 12. I'm now 40, still childless. My husband & I would like to have one of our own. However, I'm tired of dealing with the everyday pain. Ovaries screaming, cramping, bloating, pelvic pain, cysts, irregular bleeding. I've been on Provera since Nov 2015, which worked well for almost 6 months. Then I had to have an endometrial biopsy and D&C done in the hospital. Which totally sucked by the way. I was under anesthesia & it still sucked lol! Anyways, enough of the denial & hope of becoming pregnant etc. I honestly believe I'm simply done. Although having an hysterectomy will cure the Adenomyosis it will not cure the Endometriosis. I'm at least hopeful that the pain will decrease a lot. And if not smdh I'll probably just go nuts 😂😂😂! Anyways, I enjoyed your video, the first video I've seen that's making me lean more towards having at least a partial hysterectomy. My current doc has spent 8 months repeating himself over and over again about the risk involved. From early menopause, dementia, bone density, infections and so on. He's also suggested that I have an IUD inserted into my uterus. And for 8 months while he's suggesting that all I'm hearing is whomp whomp whomp, yes Sir. Basically, I'm not doing that. Far too many women have had problems including infections and the body rejecting it. For me, it's not worth trying one more thing. I'm simply Straight Outta Hope lol & ready to be pain-free as much as possible. Lots of love and light to you. And to all women who are struggling with this decision...and for the men as well. Because their feelings and opinions matter.

But now i'm really thinking over all the years that this/these things were growing and wondered why my doctors didn't follow up until there is an issue. So now i'm side eying my doctors after 17 YEARS! I trusted my doctors, i didn't know what fibriods even mean. Plus i didn't know what to ask and wasn't told anything or any explanation. He (Dr.) removed the fibroids, polyp and shed my lining without complications along with placed an IUD inside my cervix then sent my tissue off to the lab. When I came back for a follow-up the result came back from my tissue and it was negative (no cancer). In which, I knew it wasnt because I felt like the doctor would've remove my uterus during surgery if it was the case. Anyway, I'm so thankful that everything came out okay. Thank God! Amen.

Thanks for sharing nezi :-) I recently myself this past july has a hysterectomy, the fibroids just can't from out of nowhere within a few months and caused all kinds of problems. From the time I was diagnosed till I had surgery it was 2mths they were golf ball size. I feel drs these days will use u as a guinni pig if you allow them to. The dr kept saying u can try this u can try that too hold off having surgery in which the options that were available are not guaranteed to even work. I just told her no I'm not doing that schedule my surgery right now lol. I kept my cervix and overies& I still get period symptoms mostly cramping and breakouts. I also had the laparoscopy 3 small incisions. For the ladies that do have to have this surgery let me say it took the full 6 weeks to heal I felt better after 2wks and got to moving around and traveling and got sick while out of town had a cervical infection. So please allow urself to heal it mayb less evasive but its still major surgery.

Wow! You had some aggressive, fibroids. It's really something, how, they can alter your life. Your doctor was sort of different. Most of the times, they try to encourage us, to have the surgery. You were not playing. Get'em out of me, NOW, is what you told her. Good for you. You are right! You gotta sit still, after, having a surgery, like this. You will have some major, setbacks, if you don't. Thanks, for sharing your story. I appreciate, it:)

How did it go Leigh Ann? Those are HUGE fibroids! I think you are making a wise decision. How did it go? Did you have it? How are you healing? I have multiple and have to decide what to do. I'm so torn. Don't want kids, but some women have such issues after the surgery.

Aww... thank you for sharing this information! I've never had surgery before either and next month, the day after my birthday, I'm scheduled to get the massive fibroid(s) removed. I have one the size of a cantaloupe! Everyone says I'll feel much better after they're out... not being as tired and stuff. It's good to know that my "juice box" will still provide "juice" too! LOL!!! Thank you Beautiful!!
@NeziNappsakaNezi
@NeziNappsakaNezi 10 лет назад
Hi Tracy! You are so welcome and thank you, for listening. First, I would like to say, Happy Birthday in advance. Secondly, I'm happy to know, you are taking care of your body. Having a fibroid removed, as big as yours, will make feel a whole lot better. Those things suck and drain the life, out a woman. As long as, they leave your ovaries, that juice box will continue to provide, all the necessary juice. Make sure you talk to your doctor about your ovaries. Tell him, if they are healthy, Don't Remove Them! They provide estrogen and balance in our lives. If he does remove them, you will go into menopause. Remember, to have lots of help from family and friends, don't walk up stairs. If you really have to walk stairs, walk down them or up them, backwards, sit down somewhere, no reaching, carrying heavy stuff more than 5 pounds, don't eat Chinese fried rice. My step mom warned me about that, and I ate some, like, 5 weeks after my surgery and baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaby, I thought, I was dying! OMG! I had to drink prune juice and use suppositories to get that stuff to move. Keep Laxitives, handy. Drink lots of fresh water. Eat healthy, as possible, because, you want your bowels to move, smoothly. You will be in alot of pain, down there. Don't need to strain yourself. You will learn, what and what not to do, while recovering. Just follow the doctors orders and SIT DOWN! It takes a long time to recover. Don't need any setbacks. Also, take as much time, off work, as needed. They are going to try and send you back to work, fast. Okay, I talked your head off, enough. Happy Healthy Body. Muyah!

***** Thank you, my Beautiful sister! I appreciate EVERY WORD you shared with me! I was telling my daughter yesterday how I was concerned with just 'what' type of pain will I experience since they're not cutting anywhere near my private areas... what's going to take the recovery so long? So it was awesome to hear from you addressing some of my concerns. - - - The doc told me upfront that he was leaving my ovaries for the reasons you shared. (Except he didn't mention the 'juice box', just the menopausal thing. - - - I live on the second floor of my apartment and there are quite a few stairs so I will remember to go up backwards and be careful not to go up and down often. Yikes! - - - My daughter will come home from the air force to assist, my 19 yr. old son lives with me, and then I have many friends that are saying they plan on being there for me as well. {{BLESSED}} - - - And I don't have a traditional job. I'm a speaker for a company and will have to take some time off but, the doc told me about 6 weeks. I also have my own business creating videos and stuff so he said I can continue to do that because I'm able to sit. - - - - Since I'm a veteran, I'm going through the V.A. hospital and they are so great here in San Diego! - - - So again... THANK YOU and BLESS YOU for the words of encouragement and advice! I'll let ya know how it turns out ♥

Alright, Beautiful! That makes me happy. I do have a concern about, those stairs, though. The second floor? Not good:( I wish you can stay with somebody, for awhile. You'll be fine, I know. My pillow was my friend. I kept it on my stomach, the whole time; even, when I went places. It feels like something is going to fall out. I had the traditional, bikini cut, hysterectomy. Yeah! Doc's, always, tell you 6 weeks, but, believe me, they are programmed to say that. I guarantee you, you will need more time, than, that. You will, also, feel good through your shut down, 6 week, period. Don't let that fool you. You are not healed. You are healing! lol Honestly, it took me about 1 year to feel, %100, better and I didn't stop cramping, bloating, the whole PMS symptoms, for 3 to 4 years. My body didn't realize my uterus and cervix was removed. It was so weird. They were very mild symptoms, though. 5 years, later, I still, bloat, irritability, back pains, but, very mild and barely there. Everybody's, body, is different. My one friend didn't experience those things, after, her surgery. In the end, you may get bored, have crying spells and think, you can move around. Just allow yourself to heal and have lots rest, cable, fun things to do in bed and your team be there for you. You'll be fine:) Okay, I did it, again. I talked your head off. I'm sorry:( Nezi

I have been diagnosed with a golf ball size fibroid in my uterine wall growing inside through my lining. . With my age he said D&C to take of the top and see if lining repairs itself or hysterectomy and leave ovaries. My question I can’t seem to find an answer to is what happens to the top of the vagina when the cervix is taken out?
@NeziNappsakaNezi
@NeziNappsakaNezi 4 года назад
I don't quite understand that question, but, your vagina stays in tact and your cervix is removed. The vagina is on the outside and it's nowhere near the cervix, which is in the inside. I think your asking, once the cervix is removed, what do doctors do to close the hole, that's left open? To answer that question, my doctor sewed it shut. She didn't want that space to remain open. My doctor told me, back in the day, doctors would let that space stay open and let the body close the hole, naturally, on it's own. She didn't like that idea for her patients. I'm glad she closed/sewed that space for me, because after my surgery, it felt like stuff was about to fall out. She created a base vs having a gaping hole, that use to be a cervix. I hope, I answered your question.

I’ll be having a vertical incision due to the size and number of fibroids; however, I am keeping my ovaries! I had a UFE in 2017 and my fibroids grew back with a vengeance in size and numbers! I have 26 fibroids and a uterus of a 5 month pregnant woman. 2 are approx 12 cm…..so it’s a no for laparoscopic. I’m 7 yrs late but thank you for your story! I understand, about, not jumping on the Hysterectomy Bandwagon. It takes us time to think things, through. You're doing the right thing, by weighing out your options. Just to let you know, though, fibroids are blood suckers and as long as, blood is supplied to them, they will continue to grow. Food will not shrink them, but, if you change your eating habit and see a difference in your problem, I will be so happy for you. Happy Healing to you:)

Thank you so much for your testimony. I am to have a hysterectomy either in September or October of this year. My doctor has not gotten back with me with the actual date yet. Thank you so much for your detail and thank you so much for just in general speaking about this it has actually helped me and calmed me down. I had decided and will take 8 weeks off and a friend of mine also told me to take some money out of my 401k so my bills won't fall behind and I won't be behind when I go back to work. Hi, Sonja! You are so welcome! You sound, like, you want to move your surgery up, sooner, than September or October (only if you can). I never heard of renal failure, but, it sounds super serious and you don't want to wait too long. Taking money out of your 401k sounds good, if that's your only means of staying afloat, because, ain't nobody, else, gone do it for you. Just remember, though, if you don't put the money back in, you will be paying interests, penalties and double taxes. Hopefully, your 401k has a clause, that states you can withdraw money, without penalties, for health issues. If not, I wouldn't worry about it, because, your health is way important and that's why you have money. SPEND IT! Happy Wellness To You:)

Oh, thank you! I would love to see how things are going. I don't know if you've seen my helpful tips, after, surgery. It's pinned in the comment section, as a reply to someone, else. I'm going to copy and paste it to you.

Thank you so much for sharing your journey with fibroids. This is a precious video. When people truly share their heart, it's beautiful. About a month ago, after a pap smear & ultrasound, I was told that I have two large uterine fibroids, and until researching, I didn't know what that meant. One is about the size of a baseball and the other a plum. The past two years I have been bleeding very heavily during periods and even bleeding between them. I thought it was because I had switched birth control pills and my cycle was out of wack. I am 44 years old, and have no desire to have another baby, but when the doctor said the "H" word- hysterectomy, it totally caught me off guard. I wanted a second opinion. Honestly, I didn't feel comfortable with this doctor, so I prayed God would help me find someone. And so far I am VERY happy with my new doctor. I am scheduled for a D&C & hysteroscopy in two days. The results will determine where we go from there. I am now open to a hysterectomy, especially if I can keep my ovaries. I am curious to see what he will recommend.. The thought of not having to deal with the burden of all this bleeding is music to my ears. So thank you again for sharing your journey, its helped me on mine :)
