I've had a problem with dairy for a while now but with this supplement I can actually have dairy products without worry again, at least for a few months. Yes, this whole video is about explaining what lactose intolerance is and how I've tried to fight it in the past and what I do now.

I stopped eating all dairy in November 2013. At first I really missed it, but now I think dairy is gross.

I am of East Asian descent, grew up in Asia, and moved to California in my 20s. I was lactose intolerant for about the first 20+ years of my life (I'm almost 50 now). Every time I would have a small serving of ice-cream (I LOVE ICE-CREAM), or other dairy product, I would get really bad stomach cramps and have explosive ******** shortly after. I love dairy desserts, and I didn't have the best willpower. I started eating a small cup of organic yogurt almost every night at some point to get my dairy fix. It was mostly agreeable with me. That mostly satiated my dairy/dessert craving without causing me too much grief. Sometime about 6 months to a year later, I was able to drink whole milk without any issues (a huge miracle, as it was a toxic unrequited love interest). After that discovery, I had milk and cookies every night for 3 months, and every kind of cheeses/ice-cream I want. I look forward to it every evening as it was so joyous to have milk and cookies (and/or ice-cream)! It was the best time of my life, lol. I've been dairy friendly ever since. I guess what I'm saying is some people can become lactose intolerant at all point/later in life, but in my case I can also be lactose friendly later in life. I'm not endorsing dairy, or claiming it is healthy, but damn it is delicious!

Thanks Jay, this is info most don’t know about. There’s literature that addresses lactose intolerance and evolution of Homo sapiens. Pretty interesting.

In Norway we have Lactose Free Milk, which taste great and best part they last waaaay longer than normal milk! I am a lactose intolerance too, but I eat cheese, pizza like nobodys business. I have to be super carefull with fat cheese, and specially sour cream sauce or such.

I love ice cream and have had great success with Breyer’s lactose free vanilla ice cream. Delish! 😋

I didn't know Breyer's was making lactose free ice cream! I've only seen Lact-Aid brand in some stores but still rare. Now I'll keep an eye out.

Thanks Man!!! I stumbled on your video because I have excess mucus production, and I suspect its because of my love of cheeses. I havent been tested for lactose intolerance but I'm thinking I could be... BUT - the really interesting thing is that my Sisters and I were literally texting last night about hiking the Appalachian Trail!! So, I'll subscribe to your channel!!

I am a Registered Dietitian that works with dairy foods, and watches your videos from time to time. While I was not aware of the probiotic you are talking about in this video, I have to say the rest of the information you presented was spot on. Thank you for doing all the research that went into this video, you did a fantastic job.

As a lifelong drinker of milk, of Northern European descent, and loving every minute of it, I suddenly found myself getting stomach aches after drinking milk😱. Since I no longer need to drink milk I’ve given it up. Fortunately cheese is still ok for me. I think the fermentation with cheese makes it work ok for me. Interesting video Jay.

We're reunited now. I'm living in Germany with her for a few months while she has to work. In a little over a month from now we'll both be off on new adventures together.
