I like how they did it. With how busy I was with college and work this year, haven't been able to play much but I like how they did it because even with missing out on a lot of cards I can jjump back in tomorrow and grind for really good cards
Considering Seasons are also done in NBA 2k and Madden, the way SDS is doing seasons is good (so far). I hope it continues to be this fun in the later seasons.
I think they should make it to where you can use any set cards for like Conquest, mini seasons, or play vs CPU and make only online matches to the 1 per set rule.

I like the new format in how it takes a lot less of a grind now, but I hate how nothing feels special because of how easy it is to get diamonds. I remember how it felt getting my first all gold team or pulling my first diamond each year. But now there's no excitement for either

I'm still iffy about the seasons thing because like you said about Season 3, I know we get 1 wild card but like I can't use all the S1 god cards any more like Chipper, Trout, Griffey, Tatis and I'm basically just limited to using 1 of out ALL of them? Do we get S3+ versions of said aforementioned players? Still a lot of questions that we'll see and find out.
i like the change and how they did it before any other big sports game did as well, it just makes me sad because I usually wait for games to go on sale so I’m not gonna have a shot to play with these cards from set 1 once I get the game
Not a fan of the set idea. So we’re not gonna be able to use chipper, babe, ken Griffey, cal Ripken (mostly I love this card in particular, my favorite player all time) or feller, etc….unless they’re putting better 99’s out for each of those players, kinda feels dumb to grind to get these cards only to not use them when we get to season 3. What about CC’s doing team builds at the end of the year? Not feeling the idea of not being able to use these cards. Unless I’m misunderstanding how this will work.
I think its stupid unless they give us a 99 mike trout and 99 ken griffey every other season. Maybe make it so if we get parallel 5 on a card it turns to a core card
I don't really like the sets mode because it feels that unless your a content creator, your not exactly gonna get most of these cards because of time. but otherwise i like it
complete opposite for me when it comes to hitting. Im far better with lefties and struggle with righties but that seems to be a this year issue because it used to always be the opposite.
I think if they want to put restrictions when season 3 come out that's fine. But I wish there were more seasons! Why stop at 3? Just make like 7 sets and force people to switch it up all the time, not just once
For myself I like the idea but I have three cards that I wish I didn’t have to choose from, Rookie Miguel and Busch and then Monthy Outman would all be guys I would love to keep. Me being a big fan of all of those guys I wish I could keep them
In my opinion, I believe the season system they’re using is a great idea. Although it will suck to not use some cards after a certain point in the game, I believe it will keep the game fresh. Also with new cards coming out, it will give people a chance to use cards they typically wouldn’t.
I would like it to not allow set 1 cards in season two. A reset would be better like a new game coming out each 8 weeks. Just makes the game stay more fresh
I like the way MLB the show is doing seasons, but them releasing 97s again in TA just stinks. I wish they'd have a little upwards mobility with the cards in season 2 off the rip (98s maybe).
