i feel like if u go into a book expecting to be bored or expecting to agree with other peoples negative feelings about it u end up using anything to validate those beliefs and it ends up ruining a book u could’ve enjoyed a lot

I think you are 100% right with this. I have have been trying to not look too much into ratings or what the book is about before reading it lately.

I am literally in the process of filming my 24 hour reading vlog and it's my first time too and omgggggg I can already feel myself going crazy 😂😂 I think I'll need to go on a reading break after this. Also had the same views about beach read - wasn't a really fan of it!
