Even if they are somewhat normal and their apartment doesn't look like 5 Nights At Freddie's if it doesn't work out you still have to see them and be polite to them for months, maybe years. I give her my world, I care more about her and my dog than my own health, I haven’t slept or eaten in two days because my dog has been sick (and yes I’ve taken her to the vet twice). I’ve spent $60 on a bag of diet food for her (which the vet said most cats LOVE) and she hated it and refused to eat so I had to go get another bag of food for her which she now loves thats even more expensive, she would rather eat human food though, which of course I won’t let her. She also gets good treats, as cheap treats can have bad dyes and chemicals in them, I get her expensive, natural handmade treats that smell like crap but she loves them and their good for her. Don’t say my cat is poor because I look after her better than most people treat their children, I give my LIFE for these animals, I make myself miserable, sick and hungry for them, because without them I wouldn’t even be alive. Don’t be an ass when you have no idea what the fuck you’re talking about, thanks.
