That's so cool! I'm so happy for you. When the makeup artist was doing her thing and you were talking and eating, you looked so natural like you this happens every day. The best advice I got from a piercing artist (is that what they're called?) was to apply sea salt with warm water to the area to help it heal. A couple of times a day and do one time a day until it's totally healed. My first thought when you mentioned Iowa was the band Slipknot so my first thought was that you're in a music video for them 🤣🤣

Serious question because you post a lot about mental health on here: what would you have done in terms of traveling if you were having a really severe depressive episode or anxiety? How would you have coped or would you have not gone? I’m just asking bc I deal with some similar stuff and cannot imagine traveling (I haven’t traveled in years), let alone for work, when my mental health is not good. ❤

this is such a good question because i was really worried about the same thing since i was offered this opportunity about 2 months ago and wouldn’t know how my mental health would be by the time it came around. i really love traveling so i wouldn’t have gotten anxiety from that, but in terms of the actual photoshoot, i just know if i was in an episode it would have not gone well and i would be such a mess. i wouldn’t want to skip the opportunity so i would still attend and try my best, but it would’ve been a completely different experience and maybe not even a good one. i’m just so glad i was feeling okay while it happened :-)
