@@xJuliettexhope you play call of duty world at war was well take us to history class like you did with assasins Creed and I love it and your gta 4 walkthroughs gives me nostalgic vibes when I was a naughty kid back in 2007 😂
Oh this is a pleasant surprise! I don't play much Call of Duty anymore but I have a lot of memories with the OG Modern Warfare campaigns, MW2 is still one of my favourites to this day, looking forward to this! :D
@xJuliettex If you go in chronological order by release date World at War would be the next game. It followed the original Modern warfare game in 2008. You can notice the different feel a call of duty game has based on who developed it. At that time the studio Treyarch and Infinity Ward were going back and forth making calls of duty games. Infinity War made the first two. Treyarch made Call of Duty three. Infinity Ward made Miderm warfare and Treyarch made World at War. And so on. It was the firys Call of Duty to Feature the Zombies mode and the last to be set in WW2 for a while. Also nice to talk to you again, I have watched or commented on many of your vids lately. Hope you are doing as well as you look 😊
It gets a bit overwhelming knowing where to start, but this might be a good place to begin the journey! I have MW2 but not MW3 yet, so we can continue if everyone seems to like it 😸
i love how you blinded yourself with every flash grenade that you threw in the parcour mission during the tutorial 😀 i hope you are going to play the campaign of call of duty world at war (2008) next. its the darkest and most atmospheric cod campaign in my opinion. always looking forward for your playthroughs 😊🎉
I cannot believe the embarrassment that was the flash grenades 🤣 I'd love to play more! I might work on this trilogy first and go from there. A few people have mentioned World at War!
@@xJuliettex haha it made my day 😃 you can easily avoid getting flashed yourself, you just have to hop behind a corner, turn around by 180 degrees after you throw the flash or just throw it at a further distance and you will be fine :D unfortunately WaW is not available on ps5 but on pc. its definitely worth it, even though there is no remaster.
I was not expecting this, but the Call of Duty series has some great campaigns (Modern Warfare to Black Ops 2 is the peak). For all the guff that Call of Duty gets for being a by-the-numbers shooter, it gave us some genuinely great characters and stories.
Yes! Been waiting for this one since you mentioned it. I also haven't played it so this will be the first time that i see the gameplay. I actually do kinda wanna see MW 2019 on the channel. Anyways,i'll get to watching. Have a wonderful day!
From my limited knowledge, MW 2019 is not as good as the OG or the remastered because it's an all new story. But I could be wrong, and everyone has a different opinion. I'm loving it so far 😸
the black ops series has an amazing campaign especially the first one, I'd recommend adding it to your list but I wouldn't play it until you play cod world at war because they're connected.
Thank you for reminding me of my childhood! I remember I think I was 8 when i played mw4 in 2015 😅 such a good game and nice series. I just love the modern warfare series HAHA
I do really like the Modern Warfare stories but Call of Duty World at War and Black Ops are just next level for me. World at War is the only game in the series that translated the horrors of war from it's creepy music to the gore (First Call of Duty with gore and still the best) along with the sound design and just the depicting of the second world war. It's the Saving Pvt Ryan of the series. Black Ops 1 is also great but a little more Hollywood action film but mainstreams the more mature elements from World At War. The Modern Warfare games like I said are still great but go in their own direction. Are these games connected? Well it's hard to get into as for the most part Modern Warfare has no connection to World at War or Black Ops and now we have the rebooted series that messes thing s up even more for new players. But by going off the reboots the original Modern Warfare games are not set in the World at War/Black Ops timeline but the Modern Warfare reboots are. Original Timeline: Call of Duty 2 - Timeline wise Captain Captain Price first appearance Call of Duty 2: Big Red One - DLC Standalone Call of Duty - Captain Price introduced (Captain Price first appearance in game, Father/Grandfather to Modern Captain Price) Call of Duty: Finest Hour - DLC Standalone Call of Duty 3 Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
Ahhh thank you so much! There's so many CoD games, it gets a bit tricky to work out where to start. This game was recommended to me to play, so I thought it was a good enough starting point and I'm loving it a lot! I mostly play on PS5 and I know not all the CoD games are there. I have a gaming laptop but I'm looking at getting a desktop PC soon to play these sorts of bigger games on 😸
@@xJuliettex This is a great place to start as everything around Call of Duty 3 is much older. Call of Duty 4, Call of Duty World at War, Black Ops, Modern Warfare 2, Modern Warfare 3, and Black Ops 2 are peak Call of Duty so those are high recommends.
I believe cod 1-3 are cannon as well to the new timeline as there are documents that reveal a certain operation to assassinate certain people after a certain black ops game and prices father is the assassin
"Switching the your pistol is always faster than reloading." One of the most iconic lines in the franchise Also, I'd think you'd Enjoy Call of duty Black Ops 1 and Black Ops 2 those games are probably the best in terms of their stories. Its so good
I only started watching your GTA playthroughs recently but it’s so awesome you’re playing CoD! After you’re done playing this, play the Modern Warfare 2 remaster from 2020, and then MW3 from 2011 which is yet to get a remaster edition. Then if you’re up to it, play CoD World at war and black ops 1 and 2, all of which are connected!
Thank you so much for the suggestions! I'd LOVE to continue on with more if people want to see more! I'll see how I go with this trilogy first and take it from there 💜
Modern warfare 2, World At War and Cod 2 and 3 were amazing MW1 and Black ops are great as well. Great to see someone do playthrough of These older games.
Now this is absolutely tremendous, Juliette 💯 I know Captain Price and he's such awesome if you know that 🌟 this adventure will sure be amazing to keep up the good work, my friend 💜.
I’m surprised 😮! But I love it. Modern warfare is my second favorite cod series behind the black ops series. And glad to see another person play it recently. Just behind TheProfessional who played it last year. 😊
I am so ready! The best way to go about this is to play Modern warfare or Modern warfare remastered, Modern warfare 2, Modern warfare 3, then Modern warfare 2019 which is a reboot with old and new characters. I would love to see you play all of these but that of course is up to you, haven't been able to watch a whole lot of your channel recently due to work but I cannot wait to see if you take the Modern warfare journey. Have yourself a great day and game on 🤟🤟🤟
Hey, thank you!! It's nice to see you even though you've been busy with work. It's better to be busy than to not be though, so you're doing something right 😄
Juliette, the mission "Charlie Don't Surf" is named after a famous line of dialogue from the film Apocalypse Now. The band The Clash later made a song with the same title Oh and I'm expecting 20 pushups every time you shoot a friendly, Prvt. Juliette😉
I have a lot of nostalgia for the Call of Duty series, so I'm looking forward to this! Playing as a kid, I remember how the environmental destruction really stood out to me - the way TV's explode into sparks, fire extinguishers leak smoke when shot, paper flying through the air when a grenade goes off. CoD always had great little details that added so much to the overall experience. As others have said, World at War is also highly recommended - very dark, graphic, horrifying even. No punches pulled in that one. I never played the original CoD, but 2 and 3 were also great games, recreating the actual battlefields of WW2 and the experience of the men who fought. Captain Price actually made his first appearance in the first CoD, though presumably not the exact same Price as in later games due to the different settings. But always a British man with a tough attitude and glorious facial hair. The series mascot :)
Oh wow this is so cool! MW1 and 2 are some of my favorite stories ever. If you ever do the Black Ops series too. Start with World at War, since Black Ops 1 continues from that story, and has some characters from World At War in it.
@@xJuliettex Glad you are liking it so far. I saw that you get a little lost in crowded spaces. I also had this problem. Adjusting the field of view can help a little. I can't remember if it's an option in this game though.
I've just finished watching and i gotta say that i really like Cpt.Price. He's a great character. Thoughts so far on the game,it's really interesting. I'm actually interested to see the next part haha I love this playtrough so far! Hope you have a wonderful day and good luck at editing and preparing the next awesome video for us to enjoy!
Awww thank you, Fabian! It's actually much better than what I was thinking it would be. A really cool game and lots of fun! I might have to try more fps games, like Halo 😄
I've never played a COD campaign either, only multiplayer a long time ago 😅 It actually seems really good so far! I like it more than I expected (I didn't like multiplayer haha) 😊 Thank you for this, lovely lady, and I hope you have a nice evening and it's not too cold where you are ~ it's freezing here! 💖
It's actually much better than I expected too 😅 I don't like multiplayer other than Fortnite as the bots help make it a bit easier to play 😜 I think this game is on PS Plus so maybe you'd like to give it a try? Aaaaand now I'm just thinking of you creating the iconic Captain Price as a character 🤭 It's pretty cold here tonight too! I'm rugged up in a dressing gown, blanket and socks hehe 💜
I've never played these myself so I'm gonna experience this with you. I have however played the Call Of Duty Black Ops 1 & 2 Campaign and those are sooo so good
I sure didn't expect to see you play this. I don't mean any disrespect, you just seem like the nicest sweetest person!💖💖I hope you like it, it should be a lot of fun. Oh I did notice they told you to shoot the machine gunner through the wall, back when you were sniping. Stay frosty!! 🤣🤣
i recommend the remastered versions because the developers put love and respect in to the remaster campaigns and added more scenarios to a few locations that were not present in the original
Juliette, I'm on watching you playing part one of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered this is really great that you are playing it and it looks really good, hope you are having a very wonderful day and have a very beautiful week Thank You very much Juliette.🙂
@@xJuliettex You are very welcome I'm glad that you are playing Call of Duty and until next video with part 2 take care and Thank You very much Juliette.🤠⭐
So on you're Modern Warfare question there's two versions of the first game, classic and of course the remaster. The classic game released all the way back in 2007 and was the first Call of Duty game to be set in modern times, all games before this were WW2 focused. So this was a massive change for the series and naturally brought some controversy as the stories, themes, and characters would heavily related to what was going on in the world post 9/11 with the whole war of terror. All these games take place a few years after there release date in the near future. So for example Modern Warefare was released on 2007 but took place in 2011. Then in 2016 we got the remaster that acts more like a hybrid between a remaster and a remake. somewhere in the middle. It goes beyond you're typical remaster but doesn't go as far as a full on remake. This is pretty much the original game but with added features, connections to future MW games and new animations, cutscene changes, etc. Pretty much it's the original game but improved for 2016 audiences. Then we have Modern Warfare from 2019 which acted as a reboot for the series. So these are set in a whole new continuity with no connection to the past games. It features many of the same characters but how they met, appearances, events, and time period is different. instead of being set in the 2010s it's now set in late 2019 followed by the Sequel Modern Warefare 2 set in 2022 the same year it released. These games actually have connections to the Black Ops series so they fit into the World at War and Black Ops timeline. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - 2011 Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 - 2016 Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 - 2016
Great video Juliette! And yes, pay attention to the grenades, and you can move slowly and take your time. The only time that you have to move fast are the timed sequences. Other than that, a good learning experience in the cod universe. 😊❤️
I love this so much. Not been around for a while but I got a notification for this out of nowhere and put it in my watch later. Finally getting to it and it's absolutely magic.
those lines - " switching to ur pistol is always faster than reloading" " your fruity killing skills are remarkable" this series is an absolute banger, im a bit late ig but I can already tell Imma enjoy this
Oooh, yeah. Here we go. I'm ready for this new journey, just the type I like. Good luck, Juliette. 😎 Just one quick clarification: CoD4: Modern Warfare (2007) is the original, this one is the remaster and the one from 2019 is a reboot. So, effectively, there'll be two trilogies: This one, starting with this game, MW2 and MW3; and a second one, starting with MW2019, MWII and MWIII, which is supposed to be the game coming out this year. I recommend you trying both trilogies. Think of them as alternate realities or timelines that follow a similar thread of happenings, but with substantial differences between both. A few more things: Intel unlocks cheats and fun stuff. This is a game from the time when those still existed. Also, don't feel too bad about your performance in Crew Expendable. You're supposed to be the "new guy" and the game accounts for this. As you advance, you'll be asked to actually "take point" (go first in the group) as you gain experience with the game and controls. It's kind of ingenius game design, actually.
It's SO confusing with two trilogies of the same name 🤣 I wanted to try this one though as it was the one recommended to me by a couple of people. I've got MW2 on my PS5, but not MW3 so I think that one is only on PC. I'll have to pick it up when it's on sale 😸
I love how you just looked right at the flash bangs and ate every single one during the training lmao jokes aside it’s always fun to watch someone get a fresh experience with the modern warfare campaigns
Modern Warfare trilogy and Black Ops games are worth playing for the story. Modern warfare reboot is also decent, but would recommend playing the original trilogy first.
This was my technically 2nd COD campaign. I remember playing either the 1st or 2nd game but never truly finishing it. This game was the first I finished and fell instantly in love with it. It was like they had adapted Black Hawk Down.
I saw you have MW3 gameplay now I think and so had to come here to the beginning of your Modern Warfare Journey. The original trilogy is the best and this is the same as the original ones just remastered. Great gameplay and glad you are enjoying the game. Good story where the game puts you right in the action in different situations and scenarios. Gonna be binge watching your follow up videos to this.
Just in case you plan on playing other cod campaigns I’ll help out with how they’re connected cause it gets pretty confusing for someone new to the franchise. The cod campaigns that have the same storyline are: MW remastered, MW2 (the 2009 version) and MW3 World at War, Black ops and Black ops 2 are a separate storyline and the other campaigns are their own separate story or very loosely connected to some other campaigns👍
I think I'll concentrate on the three games you mentioned to begin with and see if people want to see more 💜 It also depends if I have them on ps5 or pc, so I've got some researching to do once I finish the MW games!
You’re making me wanna play this now lol. This is the only Modern Warfare game I didn’t play. Btw, Captain Price is my favorite Call of Duty character of all time.
Cod modern warfare remastered brings back good old memories! i finished the original game back in 2007. you've played it nicely and thanks for sharing the video.
To say I wasn't expecting this game on the channel would be an understatement... but the MW trilogy is a great continuous story that might surprise you on how tight it is given it's CoD lol.
You picked up the C4 and it reminded me of "They had a f*cking arsenal in here. So I decided to put some of their C4 to good use" by our beloved Max Payne 😂💛
Excellent choice! This was the game that Spec-Ops: The Line dethroned when it came out. By the way, some advice: You might want to generally let the NPCs take point and lead the way as to what you're supposed to be doing, unless they specifically tell you to do something. Call of Duty games aren't run & gun, you're supposed to slowly and methodically push forward. One of the central themes was the deconstruction of the idea that you are this lone superhero who does everything on their own.
Ahhh... that does make sense! I guess I'm just used to me being the main character in every game and doing everything 🤣 it's a nice change but I think it will take me a while to get used to! Such a great game, I'm really loving it 💜
You gotta play MW2 and MW3. After These. Finally I got around to playing the cod campaigns from cod4 until black ops 2. Was a great time, I never played them back in the day because I was always just on multiplayer.
Well, what a coincidence! 😅I just finished this game last week, and I'm playing Spec Ops:The Line on Fubar, which is the hardest difficulty. I hope you have a great day, julie🥰
You got yourself a new subsriber, I saw the GTA V all cutscenes video and loved that too! Im gonna attempt to watch that series and Red Dead 2 from you at some point, I like the way you get into the story, unlike a lottttt of other people who do playthroughs. And I will say, the original Modern Warfare trilogy, this game, MW2(2009) and MW3 (2011), is one of the best story's out of any video game for me, its odd that it comes from a Call of Duty game, but it was back when they genuinely cared about making a great story and fun gameplay experiance that makes you feel immersed and attached to the characters. MW3 is probably the weakest campaign wise, but hell this one and MW2 are so damn good, the MW3 campaign is still amazing regardless. Again the story is what really does it for me, people will say the Black Ops story is better, and to that I say, its personal preference. Black Ops is a lot more of a mind game your you to figure out like a complicated puzzle, if you enjoy that type of thing, you'll love it, but these MW games are a more grounded and closer to an actual military "drama" movie that makes sense through and through.
Ahhh thank you so much for the kind words!! I've bought MW3 now so we can play the whole series 🙌 I've heard good things about Black Ops as well so I need to pick that one up too ☺️
It was one of the ones I played the most in previous years and in 2018, but I never got to play the remaster version By the way, Al Asad's voice in the original game was higher, in the remaster apparently they changed the voice actor of the character and in they putted the grenade and the run training in the remaster, those ones wasn't in the OG
New subscriber here. Enjoying your content. Btw great Call of Duty Campaigns that you'll enjoy: 1) This one you're currently playing, then followed by Modern Warfare 2 Remastered, then Modern Warfare 3(it ddidn't get Remastered but still looks really good) 2) Call of Duty World At War 3) Call of Duty Ghosts
I am glad you are playing call of duty modern warfare also will you be playing all three if so I can’t wait good vid hyped for more I don’t watch meny call of duty let’s plays because it’s not my kind of game
Finally starting this one and I'm so HYPED! It's one of the best COD campaigns of all time and you're gonna love this one from beginning to end 🔥 Also, congrats on 20K!!! 🎉🎉🎉
It's SO good, Myles! I didn't know what to expect and I adore it. Can't wait to play more 💜 and thank you so much!! I'm so thankful that people are enjoying the videos 🥰
Another shooter game that you should give a try someday is the Halo Franchise, they are some of the greatest games I ever play, still hold up till this day.
