I just realized this even after playing through this game several times, for some reason the train conductor refers To Berlin as Berlin even though this is set in a world where the Germans not only won WW2 but also took over the entire world, which allowed Hitler and presumably Albert Speer to Turn Berlin into Germania but yet the Train conductor/announcer still refers to it as Berlin, though I suppose it could easily be explained as a force of habit. *Update* it would seem I'm not alone.
Remember, if you ever travel to Poland, be careful when you offer someone coffee. You might end up getting married sooner than planned, or at least become a father.
I can't believe the idea that a civilization could just wander around constantly interrogating its soldiers like this and still have enough human bodies in its military to do anything.
@@user-tr2mb4xs7i The actual NSDAP never did anything like this, it's just kind of jarring. Officers weren't running around randomly interrogating normal soldiers who walk by and pointing guns at them. Inglorious Basterds was a really good movie, but it seems to have spawned a weird trend in this case. Because if the actual NSDAP acted like this, desertions would have been sky-high and rebellion much more common.
@@user-tr2mb4xs7i I get that. It's just a bit jarring, and while it was pretty cool in Inglorious Basterds, it feels overused and very unbelievable here.
fun fact, this train was actually something hitler wished to make, a wide double or tripple decker train riding on two sets of track, to be honest it could be done, but there really isn't much of a point
@@GuyIncognito_yup lol. Bigger = better according to the Reich. Why research nuclear technology when we can build a giant space mirror or massive cannon?
It looks scary only becuase that's how german works. It's very litteral and thier words reflect this. So for us take like the word birth control. They would use antibabypill. They remove spaces to make one word that looks long but is actually composed of many smaller words. German is fun
the funny thing is that one of the main appeals for Hortler was that he opposed the degeneracy of Germany of the 30s, at least berlin where child prostitution was rampant for instance but then his own elite was prone to abuse their power in degeneracy of the worst callibre imaginable
I think it's implied that Hitler in this world was actually a big fan of American culture, but wanted to make it his own. That's why Germania/Berlin looks so much like DC, Hitler may have wanted to make Berlin Germany's Washington DC
@@marcelsaldana123maybe but its just those windows it hurts my german soul to see berlin/germania uses windows which were never used in german history ever our windows open up sidewerds not upwerds
it is just a video game where Germans are vilified so the player as the main protagonist can shoot something up with no remorse. Nothing in this video was correct in any sense of the word, even less so historically accurate. As a German I suggest you see it for what it is. A childish product. @@cutemutadedbearwithtwoheads
i have never played this game before, but my god the fact that im here watching all the cutscenes, just shows how good the game is without even having to play it
@@Joe_biden_for_communism Cap, Italy was shit in the war and barely did anything, last I know germany was planning to take them over after they won, the only thing italy did was create the first fasict nation, and barely took land compared to germany. Also germany literally needed to help them mutiple times and waste valuable resources on italy just to help them fight nations so they wont fall and create a new front agiasnt germany.
I got a feeling that he is always trying to keep himself "calm", given the heat of the situation. Like a gentle whisper to someone stressed to calm them down. Except he is calming down himself. "Do not be afraid, everything is going to be fine..."
@@rogaldorn605 Were there shown the halvmoon and the hammer and sickel shown? And Mohammad, Mao and Stalin as final bosses? I think there is a Nazi Popculture in the Wesrern World. But not in this range about the other Horror Systems: So they dont know about the Cruelty of Socialism and Islam. Remember, that the Socialism kills more times People (3-4x) than the Nazis. And this without WorldWar Weapons. Only with a sick mass of People, they killed themselves. Look at the socialist Regime in Germany today. They fight against the own economy and people. If the People know about Socialism and Islam, than this Left Governement cannot exist. So, there should be a Anti Socialism and Anti Islam Popculture.
@@anonymous-ts5ih right and left are bs concepts to begin with but i don't see the connection to islam, regardless of whether he means Wahabi/salafist islam or just in general. the nazis were very much children of the enlightenment to begin with and saw religion as a tool, the church was one of the only institutions that actively criticised them early on in their rise to power, and priests were often arrested or worse for it. imams would share the same faith
