Until this video, I was using CapCut (the desktop version) to color grade. I recently started shooting in slog so I’ve started using davinci resolve and loving it so far!
i absolutely love how you colour graded this video... its cinematic but also dreamy and then it also has a bit of a light and airy feeling.... ITS JUST SOOOOOO GOOOOOD !!!🫶🫶🫶
Great video. Simplistic and straight to shooting. The camera was designed for this very purpose but also can be used professionally. I wouldn't worry about expensive lenses that go down to f2.8 or lower (fast lenses) unless you are serious about photography. Two VERY important bits of info: 1. S-LOG requires 2 stops over in order to get things correct in Resolve (color grading). This is crucial to learn and its odd that Sony doesnt express this enough but there are plenty of videos explaining how to do it, assuming you want to learn the benefits of S-LOG and Cine profiles. Personally, i use Cine4 for low-light scenarios and S-LOG 2 for brigther shots. S-LOG 3 is only beneficial with 10-bit and unfortunately, that's only available with the a6700 and above line. I use the a6300 and BMPCC 4K. 2. Get a ND filter lol. Plenty of videos on this as well ;)
2500 iso and an aperture of f6.3 that is crazy you should defenetly lower that iso cause it makes the photo's more noisy and lower the aperture to something like 4-2.8 to leave more light in
Nothing crazy tho, the sony kit lens is a variable aperture lens so when you zoom in all the way (50mm) the maximum aperture is 5.6. Plus you can always remove the noise in post but you can’t add sharpness so 2000 iso is still ok.
I love your vibe keep going! I'm also planning to get this camera can't wait tbh. Your channel is a breath of fresh air in the loud and competitive social media space
Keep your ISO value as low as you can to not introduce grain. Set your Aperture (f-stop) low as well, it will open up your lens's iris to allow more light to hit the sensor. Shooting in aperture priority helps alot because it will auto set your shutter speed and you can manually select your ISO starting from the lowest number and bumping it up one at a time to reach the exposure you need. And with digital its always best to under expose and raise the shadows in Lightroom or Photoshop later. Happy shooting!
I sm so glad I found this channel, I am also setting my foot as a content creator and loved your video and I am soon going to purchase the same camera, I am so excited to get it after watching this video. 😊
Hello there ! Fellow ZV-E10 user here ! I really liked your video and your energy ! keep up the good work i'm sure you're going to do amazing with it !! waiting for the new videos !
The short film was really cool actually! I love how many shots you did! Changing angles to really invite me in with drinking the tea and just relaxing. I know there is a lot of learn with settings etc, but you definetly have a creative eye. Please continue! :)
That gave me persistent to save more just to buy that sony zv😮 It is my dream camera for my vlogs😊 right now im just using my old phone. I will support your vlogs too❤
welcome to the camera gear buying journey! see you 3 batteries, 4 lenses, 1 gimbal, 2 tripods and 3 camera bags later. Oh i forgot unlimted SD Cards, ND filters, wireless mics, Key light, diffusion box and grids.... good luck!☺😁
Absolutely love it! Although, I’ll say it’s not so great in low light conditions, so I’ve started investing in some other lenses. But otherwise, I love it!
I’ve found that it’s really great for videos and that’s what I use it for mostly. It’s really good for photos too (wayyyy better than a phone) but I don’t have much experience in photography to be the best judge of this :/ I settled on this camera because I was planning on focusing on videos more than photos
nice! You got your first camera but, you should invest in a good lens. The kit lens is not a good lens at all, sure it works but, if you want the best quality possible you should get a proper lens your welcome
