I had foul gas with H. Pylori infection and gallbladder issues. My point is, we don't know so everyone get it checked out if you're having anything out of the ordinary. It could be anything, but don't ignore it because it could be something very important. I'm a thyroid cancer survivor, btw. It took them 19 months to finally diagnose me. Was even given a psych label for "anxiety" because I had a legitimate health issue.
Well anxiety is a symptom of thyroid cancer, so they noticed and treated a symptom, because it's easier, and most typically anxiety is just its own diagnosis. I'm sorry that they sorta just brushed you off it sounds like. I mean, if you switch shoes you don't wanna tell an anxious patient "let's check for cancer" unless there's good evidence ya know.. not tryna excuse the doctor, my point is that we've gotta advocate for ourselves when it comes to medicine. Too many people just want a quick fix, and our healthcare system is geared for that. diagnosis or intricate care and attention, not so much. So if you think something is off, get politely insistent when/of they try to blow you off. Im scared they're doing the same thing to me:/
My symptoms were skinny soft stools which were being forced through a restricted opening in my rectum and sigmoid colon. Also my red blood cell counts were going lower because of the tumor and some bleeding. I had a stage 3c tumor that was fairly large (8 cm) as well as tumor cells in my lymph nodes (I had 30 lymph nodes removed during my resection surgery).
@@okthen5000 I’m cancer free with no evidence of disease. I’ve had 2 CT scans after treatment that have been clear. The downside is I have neuropathy in my feet and finger tips from the FOLFOX chemo. And I’ve had some troubles with my bowel movements (frequent bowel movements, uncontrolled urgency) as a result of the surgery which removed part of my colon and rectum. But I think that’s better than having a permanent ostomy. And ultimately I’m alive and feeling pretty good.

@@SurvivorJelena ive been to d doctor nov 6,2020 but she said am still young for a colon cancer .am already 44.. Plan of going back next week and insist on having a colonoscopy .sadly, we only have one gastro in my province since pandemic.
@@nelquimno992no doctor can tell you you are too young for absolutely anything unless you're 12 years old and it's menopause. they would have your life on their conscience possibly if they have one

@willowthepony Do not wait. Tell your parent if you are a minor. Schedule the colonoscopy asap to get answers and relief. Focus on answers instead of worrying as worries do not help you get answers or treatment. 🙏🏼

Going through treatment is rough, so trying to follow specifics for diet and except use can put a lot of pressure on the patient when they’re dealing with nausea and fatigue. She should try to eat as healthy as she can, but eating a little something is better than nothing. Whatever exercise she’s used to she should try to continue doing, while allowing forgiveness to herself on days she isn’t feeling great or doing less as treatment wears on. Best of luck to her.

These are my symptoms for the past 5 years. Bad breath, my period stinks, poop stinks and gas aswell. I did colonoscopy 4years back, I was told I had h.pylori which I was given antibiotics. After using the antibiotics the odour continued then I didn’t have a family doctor because I went to an emergency hospital. I couldn’t follow up with doctor. Now I have another colonoscopy coming up in couple of days to see what is going on and I have a family doctor now.
Omg my stomach is messed up every morning, my stools are like, thin now, all the time, and the smell is like.....not a normal smell. It's like burning plastic. Oh and I've lost 30 pounds not trying; my doc said stress. Do I need to pester him about that referral to a GI doc?
