The Attributes are red if they're the specific attributes needed to be a certain level before a call-up such as both L and R Power needs to be 70+ as seen when you look at your MLB ETA

You can also pull back on the right thumbstick and then push forward and you will get more power when you hit. Then you can move the camera up and adjust the batting view how you want it whether you at in the franchise or when you create a player you can adjust your view of the strike zone

I dont know if tbis wil help since its 2020 but the buttons are in the same formation as the field. So a is first and y is second x is third and a is home

If you’re gonna power swing hold the stick down when the pitcher winds up instead of trying to go up and down when the ball is coming.

You can also get skill points every time you're at the plate. It'll say GOAL: DON'T SWING AT PITCHES OUT OF THE STRIKE ZONE: and you get points if you pass. Keep that in mind, it helps

I play MLB 2k13 a lot. Press and hold R2, when your controller vibrates you can press r2 again to steal. You press R2 and L2 to run the bases.

also to go to the different bases you have to flick the right stick in the direction of the base you are going to

I only hv an xbox 360. Wish I could buy a newer MLB game but super interested in buying 2K13 after watching your gameplay! Im not a stickler about updated rosters and tbh, I just wanna play a game where the Indians are still the Indians. Go tribe!

If you boost everything you can throw the ball from the center field wall to home on a fly

Your stats are red because those are the stats you need to raise to get called up and they will turn blue (or green I forget) when you get then up to what they’re supposed to be

When u upgrade ur batting upgrade your eye for both righty and lefty

I hit more better when I pulled the analog stick down before the pitcher even pitched the ball and also on higher pitches I seemed to hit a lot of home runs. Also if I remember correctly you press RT to advance to the next base. The attributes that are in red are the ones you need to focus on because those are your main attributes for your player.

To hit more dingers pull down on the stick before pushing up

When fielding set your feet then the meter will have a bigger green section

this game needs to come back, even if its only as an Xbox exclusive

To have a bigger bar for throwing from shortstop, you need to pause a second and not throw on the run then you’ll have a bigger green spot or throw into!
