I don't understand why I watch karts go round a track all day then go watch your videos Rob but as always it was a pleasure having you and this time some of your community as well. Shame I was working and couldn't participate but I still had fun watching the battles and doing your presentation. Glad to finally be in a kart in your video though, even if it was just moving it from 1 pitlane to another haha.

Fantastic night, we all enjoyed it, thanks for hosting this event Rob, great video as always, I'll get you next time 😜, the crash on Jonathan might have, probably, more likely caused by Jester 😂 glad he is alright, Jester must have said sorry like 100 times after.

as a first race for me i think it went pretty well (minus the barrier) shoulda left a bit more space but its a thing ill learn over time with more practice. thanks for organzing it, it was great fun and hope to race you again!

I'm so glad you enjoyed yourself! Seeing the incident from the other perspective is always a really helpful tool! No-ones fault, a racing incident, but now you know how you might be able to avoid it next time 🙂

Rob, it was a pleasure to come up to sheffield with Connor for this event! certianly worth the 4 hours of driving! When Kris did pull up alongside me, i did try to wave him past me and hand the place back to him. nonetheless it was great to meet you and eveyone that attended. Looking forward to the next one! hoping i can race you on my home turf of coventry next time!

Hi Rob! I love watching your videos but when you commentate it is quite hard to hear you because of the karts so I would recommend getting a mic this could also make you sound a lot more professional and I am not a hater though I am just making recommendations!

Thanks for organising the race Rob was very fun. Was very happy with my qualifying and getting into the 57 second lap time, just a shame my race wasn’t as good. I did leave the door wide open as I was expecting you to be further along side and didn’t fancy putting you into the barriers at your own race. Looking forward to the next one already, hopefully Sheffield will get some new karts in the meantime. With the crash at 18:05. Jester went for the overtake on the brakes into the hairpin and crashed into Jonathan, was following closely behind and saw a gap forming on the inside with them fighting for position and failed to react in time to the crash, hitting into jester. It was a big hit, glad everyone was ok and able to continue the race, and was happy to let Jonathan through when he came up the ramp, but for some reason jester didn’t which made me think that he had retired. But I’d say Jester was at fault for the first contact and that I was responsible for the second.

Thanks Daniel - you certainly shouldn't have given me space just because I was hosting though! 😂 You really seemed to have hard luck with kart 13 though. If I hadn't backed off at the end of quali I might have ended up with it 😲 Thanks for clarifying the crash! Tut tut Jester! 😂

Was a brilliant evening pal..so glad I got a better kart for the actual race, washed out of the first thew corners but soon S they had warmed up it was a much better kart than mi quali kart 😂 to gain a couple of places.. Hope you do another one at some point.. 🏎️🏁🏁

I’d love to have raced but I live too far away from Sheffield as I’m located in derby. Rob you should definitely try midland karting in Lichfield as it is my local track and is amazing in the Saturday night open races

Just want to say thanks again for hosting, Rob! Had a hell of a time in both qualifying and the race. I especially loved just how grippy the track is in many places that you might not expect, especially compared to a lot of other TeamSport tracks. Something that I found quite funny was that after my crash on lap 7, my lap times actually improved from the previous laps before it, culminating in setting what would be my PB at the end of the night. 😂 With that said, I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for any future community races and track meets, whether it's Sheffield or elsewhere - even if it means 6 more hours of trains!

Whilst I have to admit it wasn't my finest karting by far, I do like to think the kart (No.1, no power, very little grip) had something to do with my qualifying dead last ;) Excuses Excuses, I still beat my time from the one other session we went to back in December. But oh well - it's all fun anyway and I certainly had a lot! Glad our footage was useful to you, certainly wasn't expecting it to feature in full!!! Hope to come to the next one :D
