This is crazy, I have naturally wavey and curly hair when people asked me what chemicals I use,. I use to tell them the Gina Curl because Gina was my nickname and I was born with wavy curly hair. Your hair looks naturally curly. I love your hair.
Love it!!! You have convinced me to get a Gina Curl!!! I happen to be only 15 mins away from Hair Talent and have seen Gina’s work through the years😊. Again, love your hair and thank you for your videos😊
Your hair looks amazing and you are very beautiful. I am so inspired by your Gina curl and the color perm rods you used. I plan to get one and cannot wait!🤗
Gina curl just makes sense! I think if you can embrace your natural curls that’s awesome. I have 4c hair and my kids have 4B hair I guess- all I know is their hair is wash n go ready and so easy to manage! I am too lazy for the natural lifestyle so I’m texturized but if I had the dough I would get this. Looks so good!
I just had mine done Tuesday. 4c hair and in my 40s. I am tired of all the time it took to do my hair. This is so nice!! It’s worth it. I figure I’m spending as much as I have on hair for box braids and crochet braids and products. This is simple routine: shampoo, condition, moisturizer, and curl cream. ✌️🤟🏾🙌🏾
@@TheBestShowOnEarth1 no- it’s not the same. The technique and formulation of Gina Curl helps peoples hair flourish vs Jheri curl where by the 2nd or 3rd retouch a lot of peoples hair breaks off. Could be stylists overlapping too which is easy with the application of Jheri curl
This is similar to my hair texture. I have to wet my hair daily and condition weekly. It’s a lot of work Lol! I stay in braids Lol! Your hair looks great!
Love it!!! I was deciding between this and microlocks! Love it! Curious about the description of the smell/fragrance and if it stains your pillow cases?
I’m actually deciding between the two also. Both are a big investment and a long term commitment so I’m doing a lot of research. I haven’t heard anyone talk about staining. You don’t need to keep your hair wet like a jehri curl so I don’t think that’s an issue.
I understand it. I do. But this is a perm and the long term is going to result in your hair having to be cut off. You’re gonna have big puffy roots and thinned out length. Perms are so damaging no matter how you make the process look.
@kay scott hair grows back y’all act like it’s a once in a life time thing damn lmao. This is the longest my hairs ever been so idk what to tell u Most black girls with length that I know PERSONALLY have it chemically treated. Maybe you only know shoulder length babies, but not me hon
If you look at the first video of her Gina curl it’s a lot more curlier bouncy healthy looking the curls now look stringy like she has heat damage still cute it’s a clear difference from the first time she got it
Found your channel today, watched some of your previous videos. Only interested in the hair ones tbh butttttt I love your pure energy, your smile, rawness and your absolutely gawwwwjus so I’m subscribing to support.. NEVER CHANGE, YOUR AMAZING .!!!!
So I have natural curly hair.. but a get a perm on orange rods which loosens my natural curl… at first I thought that that’s what this was but it’s clearly a bit different almost looks like it’s relaxed first and then put into perm rods to get the curl…
Hi Loren👧🏾 Can you give us an update on your Gina Curl? Your hair is so beautiful. 🔥❤️ I’m trying to figure out what color perm rods to get when I go in for my very first Gina Curl.🤗
How so you style your hair under the wig? because I was advised not to cornrows it. Also do you was your hair twice a week when wearing a wig? Since that's the post care instructions
the reality is that some people will naturally have this texture and some wont, it doesnt make a difference whether you can genetically manifest it or not
I get the question but if you watch naturals or curly hair routine videos you’ll see that porosity plays a part in how your hair accepts products…. These curly perm people have highly porous hair and the hair always looks flat and fuzzy and lacks definition.
Right I thought a lot of women had damaged hair but now I see it might just be a perm. I have 3b hair but this is how my hair looked when it was heat damaged it doesn’t look healthy I don’t know why women think this looks better then their healthy natural texture.
So does the Gina curl ruin your natural curl pattern/texture ? Like will your natural hair revert back to that original curl pattern if you don’t get a touch up?
@@kittensworkshopmcrae5878 Hey! If my hair type is 4a and I take really good care of my hair, will it stay at 3b or revert back to 4a if i don't get it redone? Also Is it safe to continue getting it done every six months? Sorry I'm a guy and not familar with salons just yet.
@@spaced999 your ends will be whatever size rods you choose until you cut your hair because it's permanent. Your new growth which will grow in its natural state is what would be retouched at your next appointment. I believe as long as it's done correctly going back every 6 months should be safe. My next appointment is in March. I will tell you how my hair is doing after doing the gina curl a 3rd time
Thank you for this video I did a wave nouveau and it completely ruined my hair. I’m waiting for my hair to grow to go see Gina! You’re gorgeous by the way
The gina curl is a more dry natural looking curl, its your bair do what you like. I love my gina curl I had pretty curls naturally but took more time to maintain
GYAL If you’re not supposed to wash your hair that means that you’re not supposed to have water touch your hair but you’re spraying your hair with water makes no sense to me
Gina says you have to add water to fix the curls that reform while u sleep. If you don’t wet it during the first few days the curls will be straight in some places when you finally wash it.
Luv it!!! Next time you go, can you ask where I can get the Gina curl in Ontario, Canada? 🇨🇦 Plus, your make-up is amazing! Can you do a GRWN make-up video?
This looks beautiful, but I can't believe this Gina can take credit for this. This is the same as a Jheri curl from the 80's that many black people wore and they used curl activator and curl spray which definitely kept your hair moist and made your hair grew extremely fast and long. I like this on you, but i don't like that this woman copied and claims this as if it's her invention
Come ladies or anyone for that matter. 900 dollars for a want to be jheri curl. Wash your natural hair with conditioner afterward and that's what the style looks like. No way worth that amount and all their doing is perming your hair with rollers afterwards. You can do it yourself. Also the hair will be damage if you don't get touch up twice a year. When I had the real jheri curl I could retouch after 1year and I have 4c hair. Please ladies I hope your not getting taken , however to each its own. Hey, are we as concern about our Beloved Heavenly Father in Jesus Christ ? He's returning soon hope we're working on our hearts and soul the same way we're working on our hair🤩 ? I pray so. Bless all
This isn’t an older Gen wave nouveau or jherri curl no need to constantly keep the hair moist or avoid it drying. In fact in the after care it says never go to bed w wet or damp GinaCurl
