My first custom bass - Serek Lincoln

Love that bass!! It's like a Gibson Ripper/Grabber body with a Ric neck, Flying V pickguard, and bass P-90s.

What an awesome sounding and looking bass! I have always been a quantity over quality kind of guy when it comes to basses but that one sure covers a lot of ground by itself. This video may end up costing me a lot of money someday?? BTW, I just subscribed to your channel after seeing you pop up lately in Jonny Dibble's podcast and last night's 4 way livestream with you, Lobster, Dibble, and Bully. That was really fun! What pickup combo would get you closest to an acoustic bass kinda tone?

I'm curious why you decided to go full scale on it, rather than going with Serek's usual style of producing mainly short scale basses. What went into your decision there? Also, are the pickups on it identical? Interesting that position alone would create a substantial tonal difference, if so.

What made you chose serek over other custom bass builders and did you try one before you got this one?
