Whats the difference between this and persistent empires?

One of the main differences is the ages mechanic. In PE everything is available for crafting so every war, every person is wearing full plate with Imperial Light Mace. But in PB, the server starts in the first age, which is much lighter armor, with swords and axes, and as the server progresses through the ages, more armors, weapons, and siege equipment unlock with the final age being more like Pike and Shot. There are many more things like the serf and crafting is much more involved with more depth to it. Raising animals, hunting animals, sowing crops, and a lot more. PB definitely has a lot more potential then PE.

@@solidified8844 PE is dead right now, and it is a very toxic community. So you'll only be able to play on PB. Most of the toxic players from PE refuse to play on PB, so its not as bad, but you'll still experience some things. I usually wait for wars to happen then hop on.
