Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I ended putting all my dudes in Spartan gear and all the ladies in Roman gear. I prob should have just committed to the Spartan way with all the voiceovers lol. I honestly just love both of the styles of gear/history.

dude the last time I played, it would crash over an over. This is the first time I could actually play without any hiccups. It was so much fun. Visually so much more appealing than the original game.

Man I honestly like just waiting at the beginning of the campaign before you start leveling. That way you level them all at the same time. My first campaign I didn't do that and it took forever. Then by the end of it I had companions that weren't leveled very well compared to others. Just depends on how much free time/patience you got at the start. Def has been better a experience for me this way.
Thanks broham! So all the marriage proposals came to me. If you marry off your females you lose them. If the guys marry then you add that female to your clan as a companion. You have to recall them after the marriage. I only married off guy (family) members. I think your talking about the companions who aren’t family. Which I haven’t married any of them. Good to know you lose them as a companion!
How did you manage to get so many companions? Is it part of the mods or base game? If I remember correctly you can only have around 10 of them in vanilla... Edit: I just figured out they are probably spouses. Nevermind then...
I haven't tried this in vanilla yet! Not really sure how much the throwing tree is changed or if at all. First time using javelins for me! That perk is insanely strong.
@@Zhousi109 My thinking is: if it works in a mod, it must be becauss it works in vanilla. But saying that, sometimes it feels like modders care more . . . I will level up a scrub and test it. It is insanely strong! Will be a game changer if companions can finally do it too.
@@kurremkarmerruk8718 Yeah man 2 sets of javelins per companion and you just destroy armies between 200-300 guys pretty easy. Don't matter what they got on lol. Yeah let me know if it works on vanilla!

@@eliajhconner8025 Man I farm the crap out of some caravans, little armies, and tournaments. Once you start getting castles and getting passive income its a lot easier. I joined a kingdom on this last play through and she gave me a castle. Then I waited and just let my money go up while my kids aged. Also have to be cautious of what units your recruiting.

You are making my blood boil to play with javelins again. But got to be patient until I recover the injury on my left hand and undergo physiotherapy...maybe in a couple of months...sigh...
on my companions only playthrough i use cheat mode that allows me to have over 1000 companions currently i have 30 infantry and 15 archers. Also i use "peasants" mod that allow me to recruit companions from villages. Also i play with crafted items only. It's so fun i love playing like that the only thing i hate is that bows are so freaking expensive :"D also i use my own mod sfor custom items and improved armor that i will share in the future (i need to update it) I love playing like thattt.
