I think that dutch style tank is going to be beautiful; so jealous of the diversity of plants you have. I decline the offer of the triangle, as it would be wasted on me; I'm sure someone will really enjoy getting it though. Why does your channel not have ads? Dutch style is one of my fav in aquascaping. It’s like having pallets of colors and to me maintaining it is such a stress reliever because you get to enjoy the beauty of nature within your reach. I can’t wait the final look of your Dutch Style masterpiece.😊Keep aquascaping my friend.
The metal stands are sleeker looking but I love the acrylic stands. They are not as noticeable as the black metal. I will say though that the black metal stands go well with the tanks that have the black rims on the top and bottom. The acrylic would look best on all the rimless tanks. Great video and I love the Dutch aquascape. 👍🏼
Wow this is going to be sooo beautiful! I find that sometimes my enthusiasm wanes and I need to watch you to give myself a boost. lol. The colors in this tank, and the textures are going to look INCREDIBLE! I have learned that I prefer the white frosted backgrounds. They give it a bright, happy, and natural appearance. Just my opinion.
Thanks Suzanne! Yes, I agree white frosted backgrounds are nice! And I liked the Dutch style that Green Aqua recently did. But for Dutch, I feel black makes the plants pop :)
I've been wanting to make a dutch style tank, so cool to see you make one! It does come with a lot of maintenance but its worth it when the results of the plants start showing.
Ryo has been trying so hard to win the contest for best aquascape...he maybe a teenager or Abit older but much more talented than much people in the hobby. That is what I like about Ryo ...keep up the good work 👍✊👍
I was inspired to do a dutch style "grow out" tank. You aren't kidding about the trimming!! Total PITA (if you don't like trimming every 2-3 weeks) Lasagna base w/ 1"florite red, 1"Eco complete, 1"fluval stratum.
It'll be great to see how it all grows in! I know maintenance is one biggie for me, I don't even use co2 or strong lights, and it can still get a bit much each week
The Dutch tank is looking good! Can't wait to see it grow out! Ludwigia Senegalensis is my favorite plant, glad to see you include it! The maintenance is challenging on Dutch tanks but totally worth it!

I am very proud: - Of your unwavering enthusiasm. - Of how far you had reached in the world of aquascaping. - Of the fishroom you had built. - Of you participating in the IAPLC contest with respectable results. But most of all, in you I see the next generation, who makes us old ones feel reassured that our wonderful hobby will be taken care of and what we had started will not be in vain.
I am Dutch and grew up with the Dutch style, but never attempted it Ryo, because like you say, of the high and constant maintenance it needs. Very courageous if you!

I think the black cover for the metal legs looks good with the black rim of the aquarium. I prefer the rimless with acrylic in general, but definitely an upgrade all around! 👍
The colors of those plants are stunning! Someday I might plant a tank and fill it with beautiful fishies. In the meantime, I’ll learn everything I can from creators like yourself!
The fish room has come a long way in the last 2 years. Looks great. Nice and organized. I prefer the light stands that are medal. In my opinion more viewing area and less maintenance keeping them clean. Cant wait for the new "rainbow" fish.
Really looking forward to watching the tank grow out, a lot of these plants I don’t see super often but I know are absolute stunners! Also looking forward to see how you shape them and get some the classic Dutch ‘streets’ etc.

Thank you! Yes, that tool is special because it is not on the market even in Japan. It’s only sometimes sold during ADA events and exhibitions so it’s not easy to get

Nice video! If you are ever looking for another great rimless tank, check the Kotobuki F-90s/b. 90x25x30 It's nice and wide, but the narrow footprint means less soil needed ;)
Really turned out nice, Ryo. Just as you said, the fish room is getting better and better week after week. In one year's time it will look amazing, but slow and steady. Can't wait to see what you stock the dutch tank with. Check out the hummingbird tetra, they might look cool in that tank, or possibly one of the dwarf rainbows/pseudomugils species. Take care.
