I fully support literature interest so I say go for it :P I'm personally say I'm not a massive Dickens lover, but Great Expectations isn't a bad one - I'd probably still prefer midsummer but go for what you like! Frankenstein is a great book. Looks like the right edition as well (there's a slightly later version with some minor plot changes). Not to add to your reading list, but I'd recommend Carmilla by Sheridan Le Fanu if you want Supernatural Victorian - it predates Dracula and is a great short vampire read not many people know about.
