But there were a few similair practices to easter in other countries, some even older, just as there were of christmas, but aren't the same holiday as people claim. Easter was a a celebration of making it through the rough winters. And a ceremony of blessing the good goddess for her gifts, and for allowing the rebirth of the land for each year. In Christianity good and evil are not two sides of the same coin, nor there is a balance between good and evil like Ying and Yang.
