3 years and 2 months ago, I beat Leyak to make it my first insane demon and my new hardest demon; and from that day again and again, I wanted to push myself beyond Leyak and truly test my skill with something even more challenging.
Level after level came and went: Excessive Compliment, Mystic Bounds and Misty Mountains, all levels that were meant to surmount Leyak as my hardest accomplishment in the game - however recently, my friend Rynoxious recommended this to me after I struggled to find something that works for me.
I genuinely didn't expect to beat this as fast as I did. I think I only started playing this a couple weeks ago, and I got so consistent so quick - and then today happened.
I got 66% and 64% early into going from 0, and only a few minutes later.. I beat it, fluking it from 66%. I think my reaction sums up how I felt pretty well lol
Thoughts on the level though, I honestly really enjoyed this - contrary to the amount of moping my friends had to hear at times when I was essentially throwing myself at a wall. The level got very, very consistent towards the end (minus most of the black orbs being choke points) but other than that, it was a very fun experience from start to finish.
The decoration is nothing special in all honesty, pretty standard stuff for the time it came out. The issues with the contrast did make it hard to read parts at times, but that just smoothed out the more I played.
Overall, I recommend this as a first extreme, and if you're already familiar with this kind of difficulty then this is likely something you can do with relative ease.
