@@TheEditoornot sure if I'd say it's better than TW, but Avernus is definitely way overhated. The people who played it say it's fun, and the main talking point of people who don't like it is the fixed hitboxes (which quite a few levels have anyway). The deco is definitely good, idk how anyone could deny that.
Nothing is scary is the type of guy to place something, call it good, then the next spot above, he proceeds to call the level the worst thing ever to exist and how it destroyed his house.

Extreme Park looks GREAT for the time, people just bias 2013 levels low because either "looks like map pack" or "no theme" and I kinda hate it actually !!
the structure of this video feels very weird, im only halfway through but the first half has a lot of “this level is okay. some parts of it are bad.” to “this is one of the worst levels” to “this level is decent. every level past this point is gonna be good levels now” to “this next level is completely horrible. some of the worst gameplay and not even very good deco for the time” to “this level is a total masterpiece. (demon park)” to “this level is pretty meh, not that good tbh” yeah, in that order. you never know if the next level he mentions is gonna have something positive to say or not, even if the level before he is very positive. though i understand this is a very big list, i have a very hard time making top 10 lists and theres like… 50 levels here or something idk. so getting exact placements are near impossible… (i also wish there was more “reminders” of number placements here, numbering EVERY level could be annoying but it would be nice to occasionally hear “we’ve gotten out of the bottom 5 now,” or “we’re just reaching the halfway point” and stuff)
I still find it absolutely hilarious RobTop despised Sakupen Hell so much that he decided to delete the whole level off the servers. Also, congratulations on 10k subscribers! :D
@@Powergryph exactly, some parts look super good deco wise. the deco quality is not super consistent though and some yellow + blue + white + beach background dual parts dont look very nice but at least those parts stand out… which is something i guess. the theming is in general pretty nice and different for a top 1. song choice/usage is good too, i find it funny the slow part of the song in the very beginning is at 4x speed though. and of course, its a very fun level to watch the gameplay for.

"Hardest legitimately verified level" list actually doesn't include many top ones that aren't in this video. Crimson Planet and some of the levels Space robbed of a top 1 spot are the main ones. What's much more significant about that list is the levels that aren't on it: Artificial Ascent, Digital Descent, Sakupen Hell, Yatagarasu...

I agree with most of these. The slaughterhouse atmosphere is something none of the other levels on the list have and thats what sets it apart from the others.
27:07 100% agreed, its just bloodlust but nowhere near as messy. 33:45 I get this, but the theme of zodiac I believe was literally "a Zodiac of levels" a lot of levels unrelated was what they were trying to actually do. 39:40 I think Acheron is "a river to Tartarus" so it makes sense that it isn't as red and hellish as Tartarus but still has it to covey a sort of death + hell theme.

Yo, You should do a part two on worst rated levels, there’s a thing called the godly levels list on yt and it has some of the worst levels I’ve ever seen that somehow got rated.
I have very good progress on bloodbath and some decent-ish runs on bloodlust, and I gotta say, its a blast to play. Idk I just find them really damn fun. I love overdecorated levels in general, so I really love bloodlusts deco And over all, bloodlust is one of the first levels that I ever saw, and I was impressed by it a lot. So yeah my not only fav top 1, but level in general. Also, spitting facts about ICDX. At first I thought the gameplay is horrible and I will never be able to beat it cuz I cant do proper practice runs. But with time it got super consistent and super fun.
24:31 as someone who's hardest demon is ICDX, i can say it was not nearly as bad as i was expecting. i had a surprising amount of fun with it too except 40%
ok this is my third comment but: 1. Silent clubstep was also a nerfed impossible level, so you can hardly blame sakupen circles's nerf. 2. Diamond was indeed a challenge player before he verified sakupen circles
37:20 ok so The Golden's blind transitions are the only parts that are hard to see when playing, and even then only one of them is unsightreadable. And that is the drop at 28%, you have to rely on both muscle memory and music sync to pass the first click of The Golden wave. It is very dark, but you can see the gameplay -even on full detail- on phones
The only reason slaughterhouse is disliked is b3cause its copied alot. For its time, it was beyond revolutionary. Only time ill agree with you on this list 👍
Your criticisms and comments on the levels always make sense to me, but I genuinely can't understand the placements. Like, DD isn't that much worse than AA, but it's 7 places lower! Your comments don't really seem to match up much with the placements of the levels.
i think you guys don’t understand it’s meant to be the best fitting top 1s not the best top 1s as levels like slaughterhouse is a mid level but as a top 1 it fits so well the gameplay is obviously hard as balls
i dont understand how you can hate sakupen circles for being a nerfed impossible level but praise silent clubstep despite it doing the same thing (ik you didnt specifically mention this aspect but considering you praised the level im assuming you are fine with it) also W for putting avernus at 5, overhated level
17:33 so I just wanna say. I personally have beaten bloodbath and have 50% and 67-100 on bloodlust. I’ll say bloodbath isn’t exactly fun but I honestly think bloodlust plays really well
I dont agree with you on bloodbath and yatagarasu. Both are insanely fun to play imo (I nearly connected runs on yata with over 20k attempts, and am one of the unluckiest victors of bloodbath and still really like both levels).
Makes sense lol. The real remake for Red World is Crimson World by Cyrillic, and also Red World Infinity by nSwish, and can’t forget about Red World Rebirth by Riot. Crimson Planet is not a Red World Remake however lol.

Nah the last one is 100% based. Jokes aside, While bloodbath and bloodlust were definitely very influential levels, I can see the argument being made for their gameplay being not that good. I have played bloodbath, and have done practice runs on bloodlust(but yeah i dont have as strong of an opinion on its gameplay), and they both aren't that good gameplay wise. Definitely iconic though. Personally would have placed them much higher than him but I can see that argument being made. I think Tidal Wave and Avernus are fairly evenly matched as levels, but I feel as a Top 1, Tidal Wave is better, since it feels so much more intense, which I think is admirable considering its an Ocean themed level, not a theme that would usually be associated with intensity. But I feel the Slaughterhouse as number one is a 100% based. I can see it being not that good of a level in general due to its weird and relatively unfun gameplay and lackluster decoration at some parts, but I feel as a Top 1 extreme demon, it really nails the style and intensity. Not only does it feel like you are trying to escape literal hell, but It's one of the few levels that actually perfectly shows how difficult the game can be to outside players(which is why its one of the most viewed levels by showcase with 17M+ views on YT). That, combined with the song choice and atmosphere is why I also think Slaughterhouse is probably the level that works best as a Top 1.
