My First Few Hours in Honkai: Star Rail (As a Genshin Player)

It's new That's why, once you play it for as long as genshin you will do the same with star rail. also new story too. btw just saying i am not a fan of turn based battle, but this is interesting i still prefer genshins battle but turn based are not as bad as i thought it would be. but i can already imagine a hell hole of farming for material and stuff

@@siliconhawk9293 same idea. I just got himeko from the free 5* and honestly she may not be as good as the other standart 5*’s but i like her character the most out of all the standart 5*’s so i’m happy with it. I also have 14 event tickets for the 2nd event banner coming 20 days later.

Right?! I was laughing so much at the fact we use a bat but MC is stronk, I'm actually kinda torn on destruction or preservation for MC right now since I just finished that quest

@@Trygorn Preservation MC is VERY strong even without Eidolons. One ability on their traces tree gives a straight up 15% damage reduction for 1 turn across the entire party once the MC uses their skill. The skill has a 100% base chance to taunt too. So you give and get shields + damage reduction and have a big chance to draw enemy fire. Can also take advantage of the preservation path in Simulated Universe since a lot of preservation blessings buff characters that have been shielded. I honestly invested into leveling Preservation MC's traces and haven't looked back. Preservation MC's scale mostly off defense so I've been putting relics on that pump that up.

@@Etherwinter yeah I've been trying him out in my usual comp to see how I like it and must admit I'm a big fan, Seele and Herta go to town and anything bulky enough to live gets taunted plus Bronya shenanigans XD. I will miss the cool ass baseball bat though reminds me of when I built my immortal monster Noelle in Genshin

​@@TrygornI mean, we still don't really have much characters, that's the reason. All of the starting characters will be hard powercrept in about a year or two

@@hitogami5827 Xiangling, Xingqiu and Bennett from Genshin were released in 1.0 and yet are still amazing to this day. No powercreep there. So who knows, perhaps it could be the same for the Trailblazer in HSR.

omg, i was grinding level 15 till 4 am yesterday to get the final 5 standard wishes for the new player banner. And now you are telling me I could have just bought them... Got Yanqing in the end, which is.. ok, I guess. He seems very strong but I was planning to go for Seele eventually and their roles overlap a lot :(

​@@irikaakiri Yeah, I guess it could work. If I had both, I'd probably run March and Tingyun as the other 2 characters, although it would be annoying for one of the DPS to have no skill points whenever Tingyun does her thing (currently with Asta instead of Seele, I can just use a normal attack and that gives a stack of her attack buff to the team)

Eh it’s not bad I guess.

Believe it or not, I spent about 5 hours playing the game, and have gone through almost every trash can I can find in the overworld because it reminds me of Undertale humor

I'm already getting bored of it after 1 day, the combat is VERY bland.

The pain will begin when you unlock relic systems and you know its the same as Artifact in Genshin😂

Oh I thought of her as collei but yea there both mixed in one lol

Funny is that she is the best character in this game , shields are extremelly op ( and she counters if someone shielded is attacked)

And she's so cute!! Just like Amber. I don't know if she's good or not, but I don't care, my Amber is lvl 80 and my March will be 80 someday. I like them sm!

Nah...it does lag a little bit on the starting screen but whole gameplay for me is smooth af. They optimized it pretty well.

Fun fact: Its 8 gb for mobile phones and 10-11 gb on pc. Look how small the difference is.

yeah the loading screen for a few mins is a bit laggy after it runs smoothly
