Still playing around. Haaland being 15 million is just brilliant as he won’t be a template pick. Like I’m 6 million off him even though I only have 1 player above 8 million Last year at the start of the season captain was boring as heck.Haaland just ruined fpl

Mine doesn't have Haaland or Palmer. The best players are quite highly priced, so it is a real struggle to get a good team. You need to sacrifice players. Which is good, I think.

I like the new graphics. I am also currently on no Haaland same front three as you but I have gone without Palmer in the midfield. My midfield is currently Eze,Gordon,Salah,Foden and Saka gone all out on four 4.5 defs plus Harwood Bellis then Sanchez and Turner as my GKs.

Love the vid, can't wait for another season! As a Villa fan I think Dendoncker should be an absolute no go, after signing Barrenechea he won't even be our back-up holding midfielder. I've got Morgan Rogers from Villa in, for just 5m, a great differential option and a good end to the season last year I think he is a great enabler. I prefer him over all other simarlily priced mids.

If you put Bergvall in, looks like Ange wants him to be a starter, then you could have Haaland. Even so, I think its wiser to wait until after GW1 to see if Bergvall is implemented at all, and If he can cope. Looked good against Hearts and QPR though.

Looks like the midfield core of Palmer Salah Gordon is really essential. I liked the Forest backing, I got Morgan Gibbs-White currently but i never saw them as defensive options, I'll look into getting in one of tbeir defensive assets. It's been a real headache trying to fit in everybody

Yeah Oscar, forest fam here, as per other comments, Sels MIGHT start number one but Miguel was signed to be number 1 but not sure if he will go straight innor wait until cup games to give him time to settle then take over from there. We are trying to offload Turner so wont be here by gw1

Hey there Oscar. This is my 1st FPL season & looking forward to it! I have started Haaland noting his price it will be hard to get him if you dont start with him, the only way youd be able to get him would be WC whichz by that time you could be left behind!!?? I've opted for Pedro Porro as 1 of my DEF. Salah is another lock for my starting side at this stage also. Thanks for your vids so far, they have really helped me to get my head around FPL. ❤

Was in the top 10k early last season, but I refused to jump on the palmer train and i ended up tanking all the way down to like a mil in rank. I honestly still don't rate him that much as a player, no doubt he gets in really good positions and is pretty much to focal point for each chelsea attack. But ability wise I don't think he is all that. I really don't know if I should stay stubborn or just give in

The analysis that is really needed is how many more or less FPL points players would have scored as result of new BPS system. For example Haaland may have had 145 more bps but if most of those additional bps came in games where he already was receiving the 3 fpl point bonus then the new system wouldn’t have really changed anything

I think the new BPS analysis needs to go a step further for insights. It should be spread across the actual matches from last season to calculate out the increase/decrease in bonus points per player. For example, it doesn’t matter if Haaland scored 10 more BPS in a match he was already awarded 3 BP unless another player would have jumped him in that calculation. I haven’t seen anyone take the data this far, probably due to data size and complexity.

Thoughts on Samuel Amo-Ameyaw? 4.5m southampton mid. Didnt play much last season but with age and numbers when he's playing he looks like he could be a strong future prospect. Maybe for a future season though. Maybe my FM brain is going too strong but i wondered what your thoughts were. He got 6 and 6 in 12 matches last year in Southmapton U21s. Its also his 19th birthday TODAY. So. Maybe. xD

New rule to be able to roll to 5 free transfers, We can definitely be looking at a strategy to use Bench boast on the GW1 To get players from Man Utd vs Fulham Liverpool vs Ipswich Arsenal vs Wolverhampton Newcastle vs Southampton And then Wild card on GW2 to get Haaland and Foden and build a team for 5-6 weeks to get to 5free transfers.

I am a Djurgårdens fan. Lucas Bergvall who we sold to Spurs is absolute fire & although he will most likely be a bench guy, he will get mins & I see him forcing his way into the team . 4.5 mid absolute bargain ...
