My first FREEZING SWIM in the Restored 18th Century Swimming Pool 

POOL-HOUSE TURNED INTO A HOT SAUNA: If Julia loves her two minute cold immersions, then why not restore the pool house into a dry sauna to enhance the experience. That way Julie could run from the hot sauna and then jump right into the freezing water. Her capillaries would expand in the hot sauna and then contract once she jumps into the freezing water the way it’s done up in Finland. This greatly improve the cardiovascular system . Try this, yoga first, hot sauna, then freezing pool. Then repeat the process two more times. I do it myself. Have you considered doing a fundraiser with Luke jumping into the pool. I think a lot of people would gladly donate to see him do a cold immersion. Just a thought. Love from Vermont

You guys make a great couple! Your sense of humor, playfulness, even when you don't agree your banter is funny.. I know it sounds silly to say it but you guys are like a married couple who are also good friends. I never seen you fight although you have made references to disagreements. It just seems like the two of you are more important to each other then winning any disagreement. I'm in my early sixties and I wish I had examples like you and other people I've watch. I didn't learn anything from my parents. It's like watching little people shows and you guys that would have helped me be a better adult. But even with that I still learn from watching you guys and how to interact better with my children, family and friends. Thank you most people are probably learning how to do things on your channel and I'm learning how you treat people when I watch your Channel. It even goes towards people who work for you. Hi, I am writing you from Northern Canada. My granddaughter and I always do a polar dip at our cottage, every May long weekend. Sometimes there is still ice on the edges of the lake. Chelsea is my granddaughter and my name is Lorraine we have been doing this ever since she was about five now she is a woman. I totally agree with your wife about how it invigorates your body. Barley straw is really good at helping to control algae. Just put some in some nets and you can mitigate some of the algae until you get your planters in place

You're getting close to 100K subscribers, keep up the great work! Our 50 x 20 x 10' pool was a beast to heat and maintain the water temperature at a minimum 27-28°C (80°F), a higher cost than to heat our home during the winter in southern Ontario. The ducks loved it when it was opened in early April each year.

The fact that you all have a dedicated rain boot washer speaks volumes to British life! 😁

I think Luke really should try it, especially after all that work he did on the repairs! 🙂 I recently joined a group here in the north west coast of the US called Puget Sound Plungers. (We refer to it as 'cold plunging') I've been going several times a week and it really is amazing! After a couple of minutes or so you get used to the water and you don't feel so cold and then it's not so hard to stay in and when you get out you feel fantastic! Besides all the good health benefits.

For the Wellies for your yoga participants, you could mark the sizes with a super-permanent marker (I get Sharpie “Industrial” ones for that stuff), on the blue liner inside the top front of each boot (our on the outside, if that doesn’t offend the sponsor). Also, build a wooden rack where they can be grouped by size, maybe across the room from the family rack, there would be fewer for your guests to have to sort through.

You two are adorable and obviously super hardworking! Interesting Luke’s film background lends itself to this era of Mapperton. Gooooo Montagus!

This is called, "aquaponics". The plants feed on the life in water & plants clean the water. There are also bioorganisims you can put in water to eat the algae. Good Luck

You must be totally crazy. I feel cold just thinking about it. I personally like a pool around 30C, What about putting a bale of barley straw in there to make sure there is no algae in the water. The next thing you need is some kind of solar heating system and a roof on the pool. Well done Julie on the signwriting, brilliant.
