A year ago I found a flamenco guitar teacher in Tallinn and started to learn this amazing and challenging music style. It took almost a half year to learn the basic techniques. With the second year I learned two full songs (Farruca and Solea) and worked on the rhythm which is considered to be the most important part.
My teacher invited me to play at a flamenco guitar concert with other talented musicians who have played for years. Compared to them, I sucked of course, but I'm still very proud of myself. It wasn't my best because the sitting position was a bit uncomfortable and live performance also has a limiting psychological effect, but I enjoyed the experience. Better to focus on the positive and be grateful for your achievements!
If you are interested, you can listen to a (relaxed state) recording I did a week before the concert: drive.google.c... - better to listen I guess!
